Tatanka is kinda right here folks.I’m not suggesting replacing all 15 or 20 volunteers, but it seems to me that they are badly in need of some additional professional leadership beyond the one person in charge of the program.

There aren't a whole lot of kids who grew up on, near, or around cattle ranches attending CU these days.
It used to be that if you wanted to be a Ralphie handler, but had never spent any time around cattle, you were politely told to **** off.
From what I've seen, that's not really the case anymore - mostly because those students generally no longer exist in Boulder, so it can't be a requirement.
I'd put $100 down that any college that fields a rodeo team would have zero problems training a buffalo to run.
