I can’t tell if you’re being serious
Don’t be a dick.

Why not Dave Logan?
Maybe Andre Gurode? Does he coach, does it matter?
Get a Ouija connection to Irv Brown?
Is Alex Gibbs alive, if not patch him in through the Ouija as well? Can we lobby the NCAA to make his run blocking schemes that won Super Bowls legal again?
Deadass, I think all of those suggestions are better than McRoid Shrunken Cheesedick

Has it really been 4 years? I thought it was only 2 or 3.I am serious. After years of this, something has got to change. I’d rather see no run than what we saw at the Alamo Bowl. Maybe the handlers are terrible, maybe Ember doesn’t have the temperament for this. Maybe it’s both. But this was Ember’s 4th year and she seems to be getting worse. You would think there would be some improvement if the trainers were good. Or they’d be training a replacement already if Ember is untrainable. But I acknowledge that I know nothing about training large animals.
I agree that Ember isn’t working, but replacing students in one of the coolest traditions anywhere feels like the ****tiest non-political take I’ve personally witnessed in 2024.I am serious. Professional live bison mascot trainers?
I’m not suggesting replacing all 15 or 20 volunteers, but it seems to me that they are badly in need of some additional professional leadership beyond the one person in charge of the program.I agree that Ember isn’t working, but replacing students in one of the coolest traditions anywhere feels like the ****tiest non-political take I’ve personally witnessed in 2024.
Yeah and while we look at Feely and don't see him like Jay does, Jay probably thinks his son is easily better than Mata even though we seen his son and it was really bad.Things get weird when dads and kids are involved. I've seen plenty of parents who can't see clearly when it comes to their own kids' shortcomings. They mostly then blame their kids' failures on their coaches.
is that what this is?I’m not suggesting replacing all 15 or 20 volunteers, but it seems to me that they are badly in need of some additional professional leadership beyond the one person in charge of the program.
And I’m officially bored with arguing about this topic already.
Perspective is important I say. I was hoping for 7 - and instead we got 9, were in contention for the playoff and had a heisman trophy winner. Gotta appreciate that after the last 20 yearsAfter sleeping the disappointment away I’m still pretty thrilled how the season turned out. I didn’t think they would win again after the Nebraska game. I am still amazed I got to watch some good football out of a CU team. Felt like it was 2001!
HE12MAN!It was a fun season. And we got to watch Travis Hunter.
HE12MAN!
This isn’t about the validity of Jay’s comment. It’s about the highly visible and well known father of a player basically subtweeting Prime himself multiple times calling him out for being absent in his duties as a head coach.Yeah and while we look at Feely and don't see him like Jay does, Jay probably thinks his son is easily better than Mata even though we seen his son and it was really bad.
That said, he has more information into ST than most of us do. Maybe he's right. At the end of the day, it's not like they have been performing well. PFF has them as the 82th best unit. ESPN had them in the 100s.
When the defender grabbed air, fell and rolled by, I knew I was witnessing greatness. That TD catch last night was ridiculous.

Travis saw it all before it happened.
I saw something that said it only takes him a couple seconds to get to over 20 MPH.He is amazing. Selfish me wishes he was here all 4 years. Could you imagine? His top end speed, his twitch, his eye hand coordination, vision. We watched a true unicorn.
Travis Hunter hit his Reggie Bush button and just made them look like fools, amazingI saw something that said it only takes him a couple seconds to get to over 20 MPH.

Thanks! I couldn't remember where I saw it.Cory posted it, he's Ivan's dad who runs an analytics company.
WTF am I doing with my spare time?I went back and rewatched every Joe Burrow game from LSU, and one thing stood out: his junior year wasn’t drastically different on film compared to his senior year. As a junior, I didn’t even see him as an NFL QB prospect, but by his senior year, he was one of the best I’ve ever seen. The key difference was the massive improvement in his situation. His teammates took a huge leap forward, there was a coaching change in the offensive room, and their offensive system—especially the use of "doubles"—became one of the most unstoppable schemes in college football history. It was like the equivalent of spamming jet sweeps in CFB 25.
It’s not that Burrow himself improved drastically. If anything, we misjudged his junior tape. In hindsight, he was already a first-round talent, but we overlooked him because of external factors like team performance and noise around big-game results. We probably hammered him too much on the negative plays, when in reality, he had solid tape even then. It’s a good reminder of how much context matters when evaluating talent.
