Howell following Graham is a bit odd given Graham's follow yesterday. Still don't think it's anything but you never know, I guess.

Todd Graham would more than make up for the Summers hire. Why would Summers be DC over Graham though?

How does one become a Georgia southern fan? That can't be easy

How about FCS national championships in the past for those Eagles? The Eagles have won six of them and lost two I-AA/FCS title games as well.

Just saw your post...I wonder if HCMT will let him wear that girly Brittney Spears ear piece? All kidding aside, that would be a solid hire. So much for people freaking out yesterday...LOL!

I’ve calmed down the last two days about our assistant coaches. I think a lot of movement is going to happen after ESD next week. I couldn’t find the article, but I remember reading something a year ago about how unfair it was to recruits that signed on ESD then all of a sudden there was a big movement of assistant coaches. Essentially they were finishing up the recruiting class and then moving on to other programs. I think we see some similar movement next week through the new year.

Todd graham would be a great hire. The only one so far. But 1 is better than 0.
Todd Graham looked like a defensive genius early in his tenure at ASU. Right up to the point where the rest of the conference realized he was stealing their offensive signals. Once other teams mixed up their signals, ASU looked atrocious on defense for the rest of his stint.

He was a one trick pony. The trick worked until it didn't. He has nothing else. 100% hard pass.

Oh come one man, he had two rough seasons thrown into his tenure there but he was the head coach so putting all of the blame on him for that is unfiar. He would be an amazing hire here as a DC, let alone a position coach.

Plus with a little investment in some AV equipment by RG we could implement his patented signal stealing procedures, lol.

Belichick coachig tree?

Don't think so but wasn't there a kerfluffle a couple of years ago between him and Leach, and to a lesser Scott Frost when he was at Oregon over perceived aggressive sign stealing going beyond the standard spotter with a clipboard stuff?

I actually liked the Johnson hire. The Summers hire got me like:

Agree to disagree here. I have very strong convictions around this point.

Interesting how article says DC 2012-2014 - When You look up UCF football 2012 and 13 DC - Jim fleming is listed as DC. Only shows Summers for 2014 season.

2012 - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2012_UCF_Knights_football_team
2013 - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2013_UCF_Knights_football_team

Summers was named interim DC at UCF for the 2014 Fiesta Bowl. They won it and then he was officially given the title for the 2014 season. Article is definitely wrong.

Still, I think we need to adjust for age when judging Summers. He was 33-34 when he was DC at UCF and won a Fiesta Bowl. Head coach of an FBS team before he turned 36.
Now, consider that he achieved this as an FCS player and his dad is/was just a high school coach. That gives you a few connections but they’re hardly the type that would fast track a coaching career.

guys going to ku has to please old les--- that's him throwing us the bird for not considering him for the job.
