Did anyone see Lou Holtz's comments about this over the weekend? He was strongly against letting Pelini stick around and coach in the bowl game. It was actually pretty comical.

There is a common theme when the coach is hired at another school but stays to coach the bowl game......a loss! I still believe that LSU will have the upper hand but its one more thing for Miles, Pelini and the team to have on there mind during the game.

TO gave a a basically unrated player a scholie because a former walk on cried that his boy was not getting any NU love and had become an OU fan? I hope that all the recruiting goes like this. Seems like the logical thing to would be to offer the kid the chance to walk on at NU, not a full ride scholarship.

the weird thing was in the paper it said he would have ended up at KU or ISU? all indications are (from star sites) that he had no offers???? either he was under the radar or TO feels this is another Jared Tomich, put him on the 5 year plan and turn him into a beast at the training table and in the weight room.... it is curious to say the least.

The other weird thing is that TO hired a new coach but is making decisions about who is going to get the scholies. I get the mend the fences attitude and I'm sure that is very important in Nebraska, but it seems to me that moves like this may hamstring Bo.

looking ahead at the husker schedule, it is entirely possible that bo peep and his also-ran sheep could survive past the three year mark. the corn's blistering schedule includes ooc opponents in the hilltoppers, the vandals, and the jackrabbits.
way to get creative in scraping the bottom of another barrel nu! gotta pad the stats and ensure a "w". lmao!
