I was told that the hype train had derailed.
Equivalent of 0900 PDT kick time is really bad for U$C.
As I've gotten old I can say I like the 10am kick
7pm EST on ABC is the absolute best of the bestAnybody who says they'd prefer 8 pm over 10 am is either under 25 or lying.
CBS is no longer relevant. Fox putting Colorado front and center in their game of the week nearly every week is a grand slam.7pm EST on ABC is the absolute best of the best
3:30 EST on CBS is next
12:00 EST on Fox is 3rd best but still kinda sucks

Post reproducing, I'm now a huge fan of these early kickoffsAs I've gotten old I can say I like the 10am kick
When I was a student Folsom didnt have lights. I think we played at night once a year and that was it.Post reproducing, I'm now a huge fan of these early kickoffs

They better get used to it. I'm sure they'll see more than a handful of early kicks in the BIG. **** em.Fox is taking a week off from having the Big Noon Kickoff in Boulder.
This early slot increases Colorado’s chances of winning. Equivalent of 0900 PDT kick time is really bad for U$C.
Yup. Early kicks on the road and late kicks at home. Not much in between. This is what they wanted, I guess. They better get used to it. I'm sure they'll see more than a handful of early kicks in the BIG. **** em.
Nebraska did not have lights back in 1989, they also had the big boom truck/trailers and the light was dim, especially on a dark, gloomy, and cold nightYep - ESPN or ABC would truck the lights in and have them on giant booms over the east and west stands. I remember that well.
ETA - as a matter of fact, at one point in the Big 8, the only stadiums with lights were the Nubs and KState of all places. I remember thinking how funny it was that KState would think they needed lights on their stadiums. (This is obviously pre-Snyder.)

I bet they’ll likely have a lot of late kicksThey better get used to it. I'm sure they'll see more than a handful of early kicks in the BIG. **** em.
I’d straight make every game where the former p12 teams are away be a noon eastern kick off.Yup. Early kicks on the road and late kicks at home. Not much in between. This is what they wanted, I guess.
Bama be like “yeah, we just found out….”This is USC. I'm sure they figure they'll just tell Fox and the Big Ten what they want and they'll give it to them. When it doesn't happen that way, they'll throw another temper tantrum. Of course, they're f-ing around just like Texas and OU are, and they're bound to find out.
Remember though, boomers will always love CBS because they have 60 Minutes and that hilarious Andy Rooney.CBS is no longer relevant. Fox putting Colorado front and center in their game of the week nearly every week is a grand slam.
Had they invented color yet? When I was a student Folsom didnt have lights. I think we played at night once a year and that was it.
I feel like memorial stadium didn’t get permanent lighting until some time in the 90’s.Nebraska did not have lights back in 1989, they also had the big boom truck/trailers and the light was dim, especially on a dark, gloomy, and cold night
Not to mention cold and sleet/snowstorms.They better get used to it. I'm sure they'll see more than a handful of early kicks in the BIG. **** em.
The new LED Lights can change colors and do a lot of cool things, imagine if after we score a TD, all the lights Turn GOLD and then flash.Folsom was not until 2009 or so with help from the Big12
CU to install permanent lighting at Folsom Field
The Big 12 Conference will help fund permanent lighting for Folsom Field and other football stadiums in the league by paying member schools $100,000 a year over the next four years, CU athletic dir…www.dailycamera.com
Would be nice to get even new LED lights to be able to turn them on and off immediately and to put on a light show type of thing when we score
This is not the negative you think it is.I do worry that the real boomers just above me might croak from the flashing lights.
