OSU beating ****braska, Oregon and UT in the same season makes them slightly less abhorrent.
ND +310 looks tasty to me

You all should have taken Notre Dame to win the title after Penn State out talented Boise like I did. Thinking about last night real quick-Penn State lost it in that first half. 17-3 at half might have been insurmountable given how Notre Dame's offense was struggling in the first half.
Klatt had it right-tOSU didn't play that well, and they won by two scores. They're the favorite and they should be, but ND has a chance.
Just for Men's parent company likely made a bunch of money off that outcome, even though half of their fanbase wants Day fired lol.

I think they're the favorite next season.
I want them to beat ND. Deep down they'll know it's not legit with than Michigan loss. That way, nobody wins it.

Ohio State fans will probably get Ryan Day fired after the game even if they win.
So they get one season from him next year?
I finished it around 11pm last night. But it ain't the same as watching it live.
Bronwyn's all-girl team beat the boys despite her horrible defense on a hail mary. She tried to catch a ball headed to the ground (about waist high). It bounced off the palms of her hands right into the hands of the receiver.

And the fact that even though they're probably not rooting for Ohio State next Monday, if it does happen, they'll get to say, "remember that year you guys win the national championship but we still beat you?"
And according to my Ohio State alum buddy, it really does work that way. Winning the natty is going to make them all very happy, of course, but they lost to Michigan, which taints it all.

I have both OU and Texas friends.....it def works like that. That's how they talk....so, yeah, I can believe it.

ACC commissioner Jim Phillips said on Sunday the league will have conversations among coaches and athletic directors to ponder changes to its conference championship game format after a season in which two league teams made the College Football Playoff.
Yes, it makes complete sense to hold a "Conference Championship Game" without the 1 seed. They will be named regular season champion and then 2 vs 3 play for the conference tournament champion.
It all completely makes sense to me when I write it out.

I'm not defending it because it simply doesn't make sense for a conference "championship" game, but I think their angle is to use this method to get 2 teams into the CFP based on the thought that their regular season champ would already be in the top 12 and the CCG winner would get the auto bid. Looking at the Big 12 this year that would not have worked because ASU, the regular season champ, wouldn't have gotten in.
Oh, I fully understand what they are doing and why - it just exceeds my threshold of bull**** related to something they want to call a conference championship game. If the #1 seed isn't there, it isn't a championship game.
Am I supposed to care about this game? Because I don’t. Best case, it goes down to the past possession and has some drama in the finish. Best, best case scenario is a meteor strike.

It certainly doesn't help that 2 of the most unlikeable teams in all of CFB are playing tonight. Another big problem is playing this game on a Monday night. Need to adjust the schedule to get this game either on a Saturday or NYD.
