Bowl Games Thread

Yep. Looked more like them this year, though. Will see more of that in 2017, I expect. Between Wilson's S&C program and continued improvement in recruiting, the gap is closing. But there's a reason why we're overmatched against the Top 10, especially when we get to depth.

Agreed. Between Edwards and a few others we've got some big boys coming in. LOS is where we need to improve the most. Big receivers are key.

This is what happens when you put in a team that couldn't win their conference, and was very lucky to beat Michigan.

JMO - It will be a long time before we see a non-conference champ in the playoff again.

This is why it was so preposterous when the eastern media tried to replace the SEC with the big ten in the echo chamber.

IDK who could have been in the playoff other than tOSU, but it wasnt a different Big Ten team. Im betting USC shows tmw they were one of the best 2 or 3 teams in the country.

I hope USC destroys Penn State and shuts everybody up about the Big 10

Yep. We've also got W Michigan against Wisconsin on Monday. B1G could look really bad this bowl season. Northwestern and Minnesota with its only wins in smaller bowls.

OSU is embarrassing themselves offensively. Losing tom Herman has seriously affected Barrett, he's so much less accurate and poised under his new OC, Meyer needs to fire him. OSU has the most talent of just about anybody and has another SIX 5-star recruits this year. They shouldn't look this bad against Clemson, they look outmatched.

Western Michigan is a very good G5 team but Wisconsin recruits and develops talent at a different level.

WMU has some very good individuals but as a unit the Badgers OL and DL should dominate over the course of the game.
