Bowl projections

What a ****ing joke this seeding process is. No offense to CU, but the #1 seed gets absolutely ****ed in this scenario. Oregon's first two games would be Alabama and Ohio State for the THIRD ****ING TIME, and the #5 seed gets(again no offense) the G5 and Big-12 champ? FOH with that nonsense. Of course Ohio State is going to plunger rape Oregon in the CCG so perhaps this will all work out.
They will update with a reseeding system soon once it works out so ****ty

Can I just go on record and say I didn't need the mental image the phrase "plunger rape" evokes?

Why are Alabama and Georgia playing, but not Ole Miss? Mississippi beat both of them
Ole Miss didn't play Bama this year.

The cluster**** of 2 loss SEC teams is a headache that gets exponentially worse if Texas A&M beats Texas.

Setting aside the Texas teams we have:

Bama, Georgia, Tenn. and Ole Miss.

Georgia has no bad loss, everyone else does. Bama/Vandy, Tenn/Arkansas, Ole Miss/Kentucky+LSU

Ole Miss beat Georgia beat Tennessee beat Bama beat Georgia; so it's sort of a loop.

Georgia has two other ranked wins (Texas and Clemson); Ole Miss has one (So.Carolina)

I think the fair order is Georgia > Ole Miss >= Bama = Tennessee.

There are not any real tough games left for that group.

The CFP takes Bama and Georgia's brands and fanbases first if there's not a crystal clear better resume.

This post is exactly why the sec needs and also exactly why the sec does not want a 9 game conference schedule.

There are no obviously dominant teams yet this year with 2 regular season games to play.
  • Oregon 2-0 vs. P4 teams with winning records (W’s OSU, UI)
  • OSU 2-1 (W’s PSU & Iowa)
  • Texas 1-0 (Vandy)
  • PSU 2-1 (UI & UW)
  • Indiana 1-0 (UW)
  • ND 2-0 (aTm & Louisville)
  • Alabama 5-2 (UGa, Wisconsin, So Car, Mizzou, LSU)
  • Georgia 3-2 (Tenn, Tex, Clemson)
  • Ole Miss 2-1 (So Car & UGa)
  • Tennessee 1-1 (Alabama)
  • Miami 2-1 (Louisville & GT)
  • BSU 0-1
  • CU 2-1 (Baylor & TT)

Ugh - SS2 in Vegas is enough to make me want the Broncos to lose to the Raiders. I don't want him to go to a QB hell like the Jets, but I definitely don't want him in a Raiders jersey either.

Right now the Raiders draft 4th, with Cleveland ahead of them. Jax might stick with Sunshine and Tennessee probably will stay with Levis, but does Prime keep SS2 from Cleveland?
There is no chance Tennessee stays with Levis. Only regular starter he's better than is Deshaun Watson. All three of LV, TEN, and Cle will take a QB, unless Cleveland's ownership is still stuck on Deshaun being anything other than horrible. They do have to keep Watson on the roster though, they can't cut him. Pretty good chance Jax sticks with Lawrence though.
