He slid early a lot tonight, that time was easily the worst.

I'm fine with making a business decision a lot of the time, but he left at least 20-30 yards out there between about 5 early slides.

I can't imagine that at least some of his teammates aren't pissed about it too.
I can excuse a lot of the slides but not that last one. Get the ****ing 2 or 3 yards and the 1st down. Stops the clock. Unreal how a 5th yr guys is so not football smart or just lacks awareness. Going to be a long rest of the season with him. These are not fixable issues with a 5th yr guy. He is what he is.

In the first half, he slid on a 1st down run to go to 2nd & 2 instead of putting his head down. That was the correct decision. Sliding 5 yards short on 1st down on the final drive when there was an opportunity to get 10 and stop the clock was a horrible decision. It's crunch time. That's the moment you're saving your body for, when it's time to sell out for the win.

We’re officially in one of the worst situations to be in.

Our ceiling is 6 or 7 wins if everything goes perfectly…

But we have a senior QB, who is our best chance to win those games, who has already cashed his check, and is clearly making business decisions (metaphorically because he’s got no future in football) because he really doesn’t have any reason to go hard aside from pride, which he clearly lacks…

So do you ride it out and hope he doesn’t drag the team down and hope to go to a bowl?

Or do you make the change to Juju, let him take his lumps and hope you don’t break him?

I think im about done with Deion. Great motivator, great orator, great recruiter, great promoter, arguably a better man, but he is not a coach. He refuses to do what is necessary with regards to staff ie coaches and certain players....he coddles and deflects and covers for lackluster coaches and players. He does play favorites

Exactly. Salter wishes he had 1/10 the cajones of a guy like Diego Pavia.

The coaching staff needs someone within an an aptitude for analytics and clock management. There are other issues but having a voice that can handle the more technical side of the game is needed. Loyalty to coaches is going to torpedo this season.
That's the whole problem. This will be the case in all 12 games this year, with some variability in how large the talent advantage is. Everyone on this schedule is well coached.

We were in the game till the end. Honestly I don’t think we’re even in the position to win without Salter. A bunch of you calling for Juju are just accepting a lost season. This is a week. To. Week. Conference. We can win each and every week it just takes couple balls bouncing our way. I’m not upset about this loss. We showed grit and we are a better football team than we were 2 weeks ago.
This IS a lost season

We have like 57 people on staff, I’m not sure what they do but someone should learn something about time management. Prime is starting give his critics a lot of ammunition, the flash stays bright for only so long. If he’s not feeling the heat, he should be.

Again, congrats on your crystal ball for CU to lose. ****ing weird
What’s your crystal ball say? You think we go into Ft. Worth and beat a salty TCU team at this point? Reality bites sometimes, brother. We can all sit on this board and play touchy feely, but this team has giant issues and a rough upcoming schedule. Buckle up and toughen up.

It sounds weird to say, but Deion can be a great coach for us…if we have someone in his ear making the calls for him.

Basically…just let him be the CEO coach. Get the players, get better assistants, let those guys handle game day
Completely agree but that means he will have to change who he is. RG does not have the balls to force it and I am not sure Prime can or will change.
