LIVE! BYU Game thread. Official.

Reflection: Omarion Hold was devastating. Shurmur had some amazing play calls, and we didn't execute. I saw some pulling guards in motion that were amazing.
Reflection: Letting Salter run a 2 minute offense where we plan to have him throw the ball is Bad. Someone needs to take the game tape and show Salter that when he breaks the pocket and the spy chases him. Welch opens up for a completion and a 15-20 yard gain behind the Spy. Problem solved. Spy solved.
Reflection: This is a fringe Top 50 team that could have been 7-5 with some things breaking their way but will now probably end up at 4-8. I'd still play Salter as he gives you a chance to win and compete due to his legs.
Reflection: Coach Prime is very bad with his timeout usage. He puts way too much confidence in his guy's abilities. The moment I saw Salter slide and we go into a hurry up on a second and mid I knew it was going to turn into a **** Show. The fact CP and Shurmur doesn't know that concerns me.

We didn’t lose because of it but the referees tilted most big calls against us. The Omarion “hold” was insane. The non DPI call on the pick was horrible.
Totally accurate. We did not lose because of the refs but damn, it was like another major obstacle for sure. That holding was horrible and BYU was holding on every sweep they ran. Our guys was too far inside most times but he was not getting away with all the jersey the BYU lineman had hold of.

Salter gives CU the best chance to win right now. I wish his situational awareness was better, when to pass, when to scramble, when to throw the ball away, and when to sacrifice for a first down.

At some point in the season, it may make more sense to play Juju. I’m not there yet.

Drelon Miller is better at rb, hopefully they can build on that.

Colton Hood was a huge portal loss for this team.

It sounds weird to say, but Deion can be a great coach for us…if we have someone in his ear making the calls for him.

Basically…just let him be the CEO coach. Get the players, get better assistants, let those guys handle game day
This would solve a lot of the problems i have with him, I just dont have faith in him to do it....

If we lose next week, you unequivocally give Juju the two weeks over the bye with the 1s and start him against Iowa State and likely for the rest of the year. He’s not staying if we’re losing AND he’s not playing.

Because the piss poor clock management is a feature with this staff.

It very easily could have ended up being the deciding issue on the last drive.

Agree it has been an issue. Didn't seem like one tonight. On the other hand, I've had seventeen beers and will be extremely hungover tomorrow. These f*cking late starts, man.

What’s your crystal ball say? You think we go into Ft. Worth and beat a salty TCU team at this point? Reality bites sometimes, brother. We can all sit on this board and play touchy feely, but this team has giant issues and a rough upcoming schedule. Buckle up and toughen up.
It says this is a week to week league as I, and others, have stated multiple times. We can win any week or lose any week. I’m not out on the season because we’ve lost to three teams that are undefeated thus far. Big 12 championship? No. 7/8 wins after losing the best QB and the best overall player in CU history? Yes I think that’s still on the table. The thing that bothers me with you is that you seem to be happy when we are unsuccessful

There is no bye week before ISU.
