And the season was over. They weren’t going to win more than a game no matter what. Just playing to enjoy playing and learning, really.
 
Prime and his team were here for what, 18-24 hours? He and the Buffs media team are already pumping out this level of stuff with a days worth of content.

The sky is the limit with what he brings, his son and team's skill in social media, the quality of CU video, and Prime's ties to barstool. It's going to be fun to see where this goes.

The kind of marketing this can provide will surely be attractive to sponsorship. I'm trying to imagine the level of cool Buff gear Nike could put out if that relationship can be mended.

Yeah, this isn’t an either/or situation. Sanford wasn’t starting from the beginning of the year, he was trying to salvage what he could from a dead season. I’m perfectly fine with how he handled it, knowing full well that that **** would never fly with a permanent coach who was trying to build a program. Those kids have had a rough few years and may not have a future here. Let them have some fun before they head out the door.

You're exactly right. The fun is fine. I don't feel for him though-he's getting a million and a half between now and the end of 2024 regardless of whether he works or not.
 
At my in-laws for the week. Wife walks in the room where I'm working. I immediately <ALT><TAB> and she sees my screen change.

Mags: are you watching porn? at my parents... during work?
me: no
Mags: (gestures toward computer) what was that?

I have started asking my wife on a nightly basis to give me her thoughts on Coach Prime and the Buffs. Two nights ago, she was on the couch watching a show on her iPad and I randomly walk up, forced her to pause it, and unpromptedly told her "it's a blood bath in Boulder for the current commits. They're all decommiting cause Coach Prime is going after the big fish!". She rolled her eyes, called me an idiot and went back to her show. Sometimes, I send her the Prime hype videos that CU has been putting out.

She's actually handling all of this better than I thought she would.

given how bad the football was this year at VT, CU and GB, my wife legitimately feels a bit sorry for me
