The type of cancer Deion Sanders had has a very high recurrence rate. One option was to treat the cancer within the bladder, which comes with a 50% chance of recurrence. The other option was full bladder removal, which he opted for. Dr, Kukreja said the first option “didn’t align with his values” of being able to be with his family and back with his team. So they opted for a full removal.
 Coach Prime said he always knew he would coach again. Never crossed his mind that he might not be back.
