5 pressing questions about the New York Yankees’ breakthrough Covid-19 infections
How did it happen? Was there a variant involved? And other pressing questions about the Covid-19 outbreak among vaccinated members of the New York Yankees.

I've only dug into this issue w/ the Yankees and other 'breakthrough infections' a bit, but from my reading, I think it's likely many people are confusing two points:
- a vaccinated person getting Covid-19 (i.e. having the disease caused by the virus)
- a vaccinated person testing positive for the Corona virus (i.e. having a detectable amount of the virus living in one's nasal passage)
The question is - can that vaccinated person, having a detectable amount, TRANSMIT the disease. That would be my question.

This is what I thought, too. I would definitely love for the Buffs to land some of these SC transfers, or get more of the high profile high school kids from Southern California.
Everything I'm reading says it's theoretically possible, but highly unlikely.

September 11th is huge for the Pac12, also the date of our game with Texas A&M (TBD)
Oregon at Ohio State, noon FOX
Washington at Michigan, 7:30 ABC
Both of those to be losses for the P12.
I just realized that LSU at UCLA is also that first weekend. FOX has committed to the game but they haven't set a start time yet.
Washington at Michigan will be a coin flip
I would agree if it were at Washington.
We have a hotel in Boulder for the 3rd so I expect to drive home on Saturday AM hungover as hell, put something great on the Traeger when I get home and then start drinking the hangover away in preparation for the Georgia game.
Damn I love college football so much.

one year when I lived in Raleigh, VT notched wins against all five D1 North Carolina teams (UNC, Duke, Wake, NC State, ECU). I joked with my co-workers that Tech had won the NC state championship (at least two were UNC fans) and they didn't appreciate the humor.
Time to circle back with those jokers!
