Heavy fine, but not a huge deal for that school and then Moore being suspended for a game in 2026 is irrelevant. Yeah, pretty much a slap on the wristNo surprise but pretty much a joke. And what does it mean by $20 million out of postseason revenue, what if they don't make that much in the postseason or even make the postseason at all?

I guess they also got slapped with some recruiting stuff as wellNo surprise but pretty much a joke. And what does it mean by $20 million out of postseason revenue, what if they don't make that much in the postseason or even make the postseason at all?

Thamel says it will "easily" be over $30m in fines. I also saw a report that Michigan was already projected to run a $10m deficit this year, so maybe that kind of monetary fine is actually going to hurt them. The 2nd bullet point says a fine equivalent to postseason revenue for the next 2 years, so is that where the $20 million estimate comes from?
Something, something, student-athlete, something, something, as the NCAA execs wallow in a pile of money....View attachment 90030
I call bull**** on this. With the basically-unlimited portal transfer ability, and also that current students knew the situation at Michigan and still went there anyway, they could impose the ban next year, and any student that wanted to could transfer and not be subject to the ban. Also, I’ve been informed on multiple forums that school pride is not a thing anymore, so that excuse won’t fly with me.
And also, how about facts those wins, ****ers. Including the Natty.

The show cause only affects Moore going somewhere else. How was Denard Robinson involved with this? lol
As for Moore, he has a 2 year show cause now. So does this mean Michigan will have to present their justification for keeping him or is it only for if another school tried to poach him?
Boosters were getting insider info as part of their AD contributions. Seems reasonable to have standardized injury reports in professional sports.I think it’s to help the gambling sites that are partnering with (ie, giving large sums of money to) the Big12. They want valid injury data to set lines, etc.
It’s comedic to think that the NCAA would punish a blue blood in such a way.The sanctions are dropping on Michigan tomorrow and some message board genius says he knows what they are. Doubt this is legit but if it actually happened, that would be devastating

No. Enter Larry Ellison. He is currently worth $291B. So that's 291,000 Million dollars for the math impaired.Thamel says it will "easily" be over $30m in fines. Kick Michigan off the tour, Doug!!!This Happy Gilmore quote comes to mind...
"Well, the board thinks that might be a little extreme, considering that our ratings today were... the highest that we've ever had."

Why not? Bowls are dead. Make the postseason for 28 programs a win or go home playoff setting instead of a bowl where half the starters opt out and the other half don’t give a **** if they’re there. The Big 10 is apparently throwing out a trial balloon of a 28 team playoff that would eliminate conference championship games since he can’t sell the inventory for a quarter final game he was planning on under their first plan. Would still have unbalanced auto bids. 7 apiece for the B1G and SEC, 5 for the B12 and ACC.
With games on the campus of the higher seed! Why not? Bowls are dead. Make the postseason for 28 programs a win or go home playoff setting instead of a bowl where half the starters opt out and the other half don’t give a **** if they’re there.
I think a third or more of the SEC is going to turn over after this season and he will be a candidate at most of those places
