Rumor has it that all of the UCLA coaches were told that they would not be returning next year, and Sunseri felt resigning now was a smarter career move than remaining with the team and collecting a two year buyout, but also face being attached to a potential 0-12 season.
Should be Primes next call. Bring in as an analyst the rest of the way and see if he's a fit for OC next year.

Early rumor is that Sanchez and a truck driver (cooking oil recycling & disposal) got in a fight over a parking spot. Truck driver says self defense. Sanchez was at hospital and not interviewed yet, so has told his side of the story. Take early rumors with a huge grain of salt as always.
Update: Sanchez was arrested and charged with battery and public intoxication. Other person who stabbed him in self defense is 69 years old and suffered significant injuries. Yikes.
Update 2: Police reviewed two hotel surveillance videos and interviewed a witness that all supported truck driver’s account.

Don't know if Sanchez has a morals clause in his contract but if the reports are true he may soon be unemployed.
He also has a reported net worth of around $40 million. Again if the reports are true the guy he beat up and the lawyers are going to end up with a substantial chunk of that.
also reportedly both men involved in the incident had their phones out and were recording.
