College Football News, Rumor & Humor

That stings. I remember this kid having a pretty sizable personality during his recruitment to CU that was pretty exciting to catch glimpses of during that time. always sad to see or hear someone this young being no longer with the ones that love them…damn…

CSU starting WR kicked off the team for an undisclosed reason. Was a team decision apparently and “reliability” is mentioned in the comments.

“The University of Miami (Fla.) paid football coach Mario Cristobal $22.7 million in 2022, including $7.7 million in base pay and $14.9 million in ‘other reportable compensation,’ according to a federal tax form released by the university Tuesday to USA TODAY sports,” Schrotenboer wrote....According to Schrotenboer, the $14.9 million in “other pay” is believed to cover the $9 million in buyout money owed to Oregon when Cristobal came to the east coast.

Dorrell just had a big day for his head coaching record
Just doubled his win total from the 2022 season in one day. Impressive.

I genuinely do like that they didn't punish ASU's current players/staff for the violations of the previous staff. Always felt that was really stupid/unfair to the current athletes. If the guy(s) that committed the violations remain at the university, that's a different story.

First off they are vacated, not forfeited so it is like the game never existed. KD can't even get a win against a non-opponent.

Secondly vacating wins is utterly meaningless as a penalty. It isn't as if anybody pays any attention. Fans don't get a refund because the game doesn't count, nobody feels bad about not winning a game that is long over.

Lost the link, but Memphis just got a commitment of $25M over the next 5 years from FedEx to fund NIL.
I read that Burdie Haldorson (his initials were on CU BB uniforms this year - All-American, 2 time Olympic gold winner), turned down the NBA and instead played for the Phillip 66 AAU team. Ending up owning several gas stations and nice homes. Might be a glimpse at the future.
