College Football News, Rumor & Humor

So he's going to a worse football situation in a less QB-friendly system and is reportedly getting even less money than the ~$2.2 mil he was getting at Tennessee. They guy played himself. Or should I say his dad did
It’s be funny to see Tennessee go out and grab a starting QB from another program and publicly announce that they’re paying him $4m

Think this is far from the last of these we see.

He either got bad advice or had a grossly inflated opinion of his value to the team, or both.

Wouldn't be surprised to see a few of these a year in the near future. These guys were the big star in HS, had nobody say anything negative about them in the recruiting process, and many have a posse of "friends" telling them they are great.

Reality can be an ugly thing sometimes.

I know I’m late to the party that many of you have been having, but I think I’m starting to get some clarity on how this will all go.

Top revenue sport schools will break from the NCAA. Players will unionize. The new organization and player’s union will establish, vote on and agree on rules and a pay structure. Etcetera, etcetera, etcetera.

I’m not sure where this leaves the non revenue sports and schools on the outside looking in. Just trying to wrap my head around the possible scenarios boggles (not “bottles!”) my mind.
