Colorado vs USC Game

Listening to HCKD talk about how nIxon's leadership is missed on this young team really made me feel better about this game. Lots better.
To be fair, with the whole Helton thing, USC needs his leadership more, so maybe this is some sort of blessing.

Well, he was probably coaxed to leave by HCKD, fully well knowing that “the team is young”, same with Noyer…another player that had established a vocal leadership role, but may have been passed over for any starting capacity.

The first CU game against USC I remember was way before we joined the pac. Barney was the coach, so it's not like DBT's first USC game.

Anyway, I was at casino playing poker.

My drinking overcame my math abilities.

**** USC.

I just want one coach to come in and say "we're circling that game on the schedule - that's our measuring stick. We build our team to beat them."

**** the low expectations the regents, the president, the chancellor and the AD have established.

Over/Under on how many more times KD mentions this "youth" over the remainder of the season? I'll put it at 7, any takers?

I wish there was a 1000 like button

Man we had them beat in 2016 but that Darnold kept running away from the Buff defenders that day. Only if some one pulled a Collier on him like with that Nub QB.
Also had them beat in ‘19, but then they just started doing the most USC thing ever - just throw ball deep down field into double coverage with no hope of completion, but receivers get all beast mode and make reception (or CU gets called for PI).
Then CU starts doing most CU thing ever - don’t do what was successful, but instead run ball straight up the middle, gain no yards, punt.
Repeat.

The fact that UT - Austin does not use the Common App surprises me not at all.
The fact the USC DOES surprises me to no end.

Back to your regularly scheduled program.

Over. I'll hit that in the next two weeks. And then I'll take the one game over at that number when we lose to say, Arizona at home.

I cna't watch CU this year....so so bad. I desperately want them to win, but I know they won't.
Fall sucks without CU winning any games.

So many threads dedicated to us being awful at football I didn't know where to post this.

We made Tom Fornelli's Bottom 25!

team logo23. Colorado1-3The Buffs are struggling offensively. After putting up 35 against Northern Colorado in the season opener, they've scored only 20 points in three games against Texas A&M, Minnesota and Arizona State. If you only look at games between FBS teams, the 0.59 points per possession the Buffs have scored ranks 129th nationally, ahead of only Southern Miss. This week Colorado hopes to figure it out against a reeling USC squad. (NR)

This is a hard game to understand. I am not sure that CU can mount much offense. USC certainly has talent but seems to have lost interest in playing football. CU will be at home which should help, but we lost to Minn. at home so that theory may be shot.

I watched the Minn vs BG game > had Minn played us the way they did against BG we'd have another W.
Bowling Green had 2 walks on their O-line with less than 300 yrds offense.
