That'd be tough with Clemson having 3 losses, so I'm going to say no. I can't imagine the committee would put a 3 loss Clemson in the top 4 over a 1 loss Boise, either, but that's the wild card and will set the precedent for G5 programs moving forward one way or another (which actually means I could totally see Clemson being the 4 seed while Boise gets ****ed and stays at 11 or 12).
The real debate and test will be about SMU vs Alabama for the last spot if the committee follows through with their comments about losing a CCG not negatively impacting that team too severely if they are already part of the playoff field.

Really wanted SMU to win this. Mostly because Bronwyn had me blast Pink Pony Club in an Odyssey full of 10 year old girls last night on the way home from her birthday dinner at Benihana. It was an experience.

We can agree to disagree if you think the talent is more spread out.
I mean, it is from a team to team perspective, especially the QB position.
i think you need to wait five years to see the true consequences, its way too early for any sort of real conclusion ... my only gut feeling is that CCG week used to matter way more as the stakes were significantly higher

Two-point attempt: Modern coaches seem to be intoxicated with chasing points too early. I'm sure there's some analytic/plastic laminate that instructs you to go for it at that point but....
SMU got away with a facemask against Clemson a bit ago, but so the fvck what. 11 minutes left and Clemson doesn't have one fvcking penalty.
