WTF?
How would Ed reed be a game changer as DC?
Likely because CU loses to TCU, CSU and ASU if Ed Reed is the DC last year. Three more losses should certainly qualify as a game changer.
How would Ed reed be a game changer as DC?
No ideaHow would Ed reed be a game changer as DC? Make him Safeties coach... what has he shown that makes anyone think he can call a game?
I'd go with Lovie or Flores from that list. But I honestly doubt we can pull those guys.RK and Jake have speculated that the list of DC candidates consists of:
Zimmer
Norton Jr
Lovie Smith
Ray Lewis/Ed Reed
Brian Flores
Raheem Morris
They even went as far to as to say they believe Lovie Smith is the odds on favorite at this point but the truly game changing hire would be Ed Reed.
I've seen other articles mention Ron Rivera, Tony Dungy, Brandon Staley.
I'm just at a loss for the mention of some of these names being mentioned as legitimate or "odds on favorite" candidates for seemingly no particular reason.
They did a show a few minutes ago about rumors it could be Jim Leonard. I think that would be a slam dunk hire.I'd go with Lovie or Flores from that list. But I honestly doubt we can pull those guys.
i agree 100%!..give me Jim all dayThey did a show a few minutes ago about rumors it could be Jim Leonard. I think that would be a slam dunk hire.
Those guys are full on sunshine pumpers now. I would take most of it with a grain of salt. They did a show a few minutes ago about rumors it could be Jim Leonard. I think that would be a slam dunk hire.
They claimed someone on the staff tweeted his name before quickly deleting it which is causing the speculation. Those guys are full on sunshine pumpers now. I would take most of it with a grain of salt.

Does Alabama's DC retiring affect any of our options here? Gotta imagine they get their pick of anyone available.
I guess it depends on who Coach Prime wants to hire. It it is Mike Zimmer then it seems doubtful to me that Alabama gets him if they want him.
He should go back to U$C
Riley to BamaHe should go back to U$C
Pete Carroll to Alabama
We are watching a nexus event with Saban, Belichick, and Carroll all retiring within 24-48 hours. Amazing. This off-season is wild
