Words of wisdom from Dan Hawkins!I don’t really have an issue with a coach wanting his guy to go for a school record.
Anybody else hate themself and want to watch this? Same **** really. Just need to work harder and we're so young. Saw positives on offense. Not worried about job.

Fully agreeThe company I work for has a philosophy about ****ing up, “we’ll try harder” implies that you weren’t trying hard before. You need to put something substantive in place to affect change. Good intentions don’t work.
Other than the only conference championship in the past 30 years . . .After the regime change, we need to permanently retire the all-white jerseys. Nothing good came of those.
Huh? We were designated as the home team in the 2001 title game and wore black and gold.Other than the only conference championship in the past 30 years . . .
Saliman made it clear in his interview with Brian that CU has the financial means to do whatever is best for the short and long term health of the university, athletic department and football program. It’s painfully obvious. Need to hear an announcement this evening at the latestAdam: "I can't think of 1 argument for why Karl Dorrell should be coaching this team on October 15th."

When ASU fired Edwards news broke around lunchtime. If Dorrell isn't gone before Broncos kickoff I'll be pissed.Saliman made it clear in his interview with Brian that CU has the financial means to do whatever is best for the short and long term health of the university, athletic department and football program. Your posts over the last several weeks suggest you've already been pissed for some time. When ASU fired Edwards news broke around lunchtime. If Dorrell isn't gone before Broncos kickoff I'll be pissed.
I'm also encouraged by what I see with McCown.McCown is a big bright spot. If we can build around him for 4 years that will be huge.
He has to want to stay, though. Not sure how we get that done. The cupboard is so bare here, talent-wise.McCown is a big bright spot. If we can build around him for 4 years that will be huge.
Seems to have a lot of tools. Maybe a little small and I’m not convinced on his arm strength. Deep balls need some work.I'm also encouraged by what I see with McCown.
But just how lowered is the bar when we're feeling good about a QB going 14/30 for 186 yards against the 2nd worst defense in the conference?

Where will he go? By the end of the season, he will have led his team to an 0-9 record as a starter. Unless he starts looking very good, which is nearly impossible to do in this offense, being the starter at CU is likely his best option. He has to want to stay, though. Not sure how we get that done. I'd like to see him with a competent coaching staff.I'm also encouraged by what I see with McCown.

This. So much this.I'm also encouraged by what I see with McCown.

Owen is clearly not the problem of an 0-9 team. He’s been the only bright spot, with Hank, while playing as a true freshman who only came in over the summer. He will have no problem finding a better situation if he chooses to go. Frankly, we can actually say, any team in the country is a better team than we are.Where will he go?
