If KD is willing to let go and actually let it be the new OC's show, *and* CU hires the right OC, then yes, it could.
Will both of those things happen? Unlikely at best.
One note of optimism is that KD said he had Zoom meetings with the 3 OC candidates, so I'm assuming that they're not local / on current staff.More predictable than professional wrestling.
Ironically, it's probably the best sign we could hope for at this point, if we're hoping for Marrion to be the next OC.
Today is Thursday you know right? Plus I'm pretty sure he had some "hopefully", "maybe" in his response.
Would be such a CU/KD/RG thing to have a zoom meeting interview with a current staffer before doing an in-person interview.
This is a good Miami.

Is this 1 of those “rumor” things I hear about when other programs looks for new coaches?
The starting point for hiring an OC that didn't kill any hope I had left was that it needs to be "ABL" - anyone but Langsdorf.
From there, don't give me a boring retread or some veteran NFL guy because that would just kill me a little less painfully.
I can accept pretty much anyone else, but if we clear those first 2 hurdles I'm hoping for someone exciting.
Marion fits the bill for getting me excited.

Had OC experience.
Yea, he's sold on everything else KD, offensive line depth, recruiting. But it sounds like this one is just meh to him. Now I know this is a can't miss hire
