CU Buffs hire former Minnesota OC Mike Sanford as their new OC

Except for Sanford
Gonna be hard to judge Sanford for a while. People are going to think he's great this year because the offense will improve a lot. But any halfway competent OC would look awesome compared to 2021, especially with a qualified OL coach and an improved QB situation.

We may not have a read on him until 2024.

That's encouraging, not.

It’s a seasonal thing. Prius in the Summer and Fall, Subaru in the Winter and Spring. Don’t forget the occasional Tesla for the folks who really want to show off how environmentally sensitive they are, but do it in style.

The offense improving a lot is not a given IMO.

I think it’s reasonable to separate their willingness to spend money from their ability to spend money wisely. First things first.

They better get up to speed pretty quickly before the vote on an extension for Dorrell comes after this season.

I’d rather RG and Phil get up to speed on what the market rates are for quality coaches and then depend on the regents to rubber stamp the recommendations. I really don’t want the regents to be making any kind of judgements on that kind of thing. They’re woefully unqualified. That doesn’t let RG and Phil off the hook, mind you.

Future Republicans will be driving F-150 Lightnings and the Tesla Supertrucks, still with Trump flags on them

You are being far too generous. I can judge Sanford on his numerous previous muckups.
