CU has rejoined the Big 12 and broken college football - talking out asses continues

Crazy to me how it seems that political affiliation is somehow being connected to the PAC or BIG12. I just want what's best for CU. I wish USC and UCLA hadn't left and somehow the PAC could have had OU and OSU. I could care less otherwise except for some of the snobbery which is silly to even have.

These B12 mf’ers are using the same scorched earth tactics Baylor used against us ten years ago. Except now Baylors hand is on the wheel. Never do business with someone who tried to stick a knife in your back. Different people but same mentality - snake faces. I don’t trust them, I don’t like them, I want nothing to do with them.

Didn't the CAL BOR just try to knife you in the back and force a move of Stanford/Cal/Washington/Oregon to the B1G? I'm guessing different rules for them?

No difference at all between a school pursuing a conference invitation on its own merits vs a school going on a very public negative campaign impugning another candidate that belongs to its conference.

On that note for any baylor people reading this:

Before my wife and I were married, we went out dancing a few times.

Not really my thing, so mostly we just fvcked. A lot.

But I didn't rape her, so I don't expect baylor people to understand.

To get to the right payout to keep everyone happy (~$50-60M tv rights only), it probably needs to be 18 schools.

From P12:
CU, UO, UW, UU, Stanford, Cal, UA, ASU

From ACC:
Clemson, FSU, Miami, UNC, NC State, UVA, VT, Pitt, GT, Duke (or ND as a Duke replacement if they agree to it)

Left out:
WSU, OSU, Wake, Syracuse, BC, Louisville and possibly Duke

I hate the concept of leaving these schools out but if it means creating a league where the above schools commit to this then it’s worth it.

Conference Presidents are very hesitant to break ties and leave long time members behind but if these schools want to remain competitive while SEC/B1G schools are getting $100 million a year plus they have to be willing to cut out the schools that don't provide media value.

If they don't go with your option 2 initially then down the road they will be forced to or lose as the highest value programs leave for the big 2.

Football is what pays the bills and none of the schools in your "Left out" list add significant fan appeal outside of their own limited fan base.

Big difference between dividing say $720 million by 24 schools ($30 million per school) or dividing $700 million by 18 schools ( $39 Million per school.)

The totals could be different but the simple reality is that for a national network the 24 schools provide very little more value that the 18 but the extra 6 are still going to cost a share.

Be very careful when you say "FVCK BAYLOR."

When they hear it they think is an order from above and grab the closest co-ed. To them a muffled scream is consent.

To them character is highly important.

But nowhere near as important as the ability to sack a QB, dunk a basketball, or otherwise bring glory to their university through athletic achievement.

It’s not that hard. There’s a large contingent of people with that exact strain of mental defect at Baylor University. To them, it’s not a defect, it’s a feature.
