CU has rejoined the Big 12 and broken college football - talking out asses continues

Went to the Ram board to see how they're taking the news, and just....

They live in an alternate universe...I'm convinced now.

He is probably sitting in a bar drinking his sorrows away
A big part of me thinks that Commish K had a deal framed around adding SoCal and DFW markets but the decision has to be at least 8-2 on that... and there were at least 3 nay votes between those who didn't want a tougher path (more teams in the way) to making the playoffs if they weren't going to get a B1G invite AND those who couldn't stomach the idea of admitting 2 non-AAU members rated R2 on research intensity who don't even bring any "Conference of Champions" prestige because neither one has ever won a national championship in anything that was D1 and wasn't golf before Jack Nicklaus was even a ranked amateur.

Would seem to jibe with "we're close" a couple months ago and all the weirdness around SDSU sending that letter to the MWC and then needing to walk it back. I think around that same time it came out that SMU had a lead booster step up and say that he'd make up the difference to them on a reduced payout share from the Pac-12 for a number of years.

Oh come on ITB that’s funny live a little this is your day.

Listen, our brains will be pickled with conspiracies by the end of this. The B12 is run by WV lunatics who spread nonsense to boost their self esteem and cause chaos to fill the emptiness of their brains and hearts. Like a dumb vampire. So here’s some b.s. we have to look forward to in this hellscape.

Let’s ****ing go WVU idot!!!

For all of you who doubted me.....

This was your one moment and ****ing Ross from Friends was the best you could do?!?!? ****ing Shame, bro

If it ends up that CU made the move that breaks a conference, maybe there's a bright side to that.

Hmmmm.....

Back in the day, CU and UT were very much together on Big 12 issues. The formation of the conference, when CU & UT considered joining the Pac-10 instead and were together on Big 12 bylaws (often siding against Nebraska). When CU left for the Pac-12, UT was very tempted to come with us and lead a group of 4 additions.

So, maybe the bright side is that UT will see that CU is back in sync with them if we become a conference killer. That leads to a series of dominos which result in an SEC invite.

FWIW- ASU alum donnor friend has been railing their AD and president for months to find a lifeboat. Said tonight he was hearing $12 mil a team less than big12, and 1 game a week linear.
I want to see that drop after we leave and take the Prime Factor with us.

The conference wouldn’t be half bad had they not added the 4 G5 programs and just made room for the 6 Pac 12 programs instead, but alas, life is all about timing and CFB is so ****tily constructed that the smart decisions are almost never made
That's not an option they had at the time. Still, BYU is P5 quality in every since, Cincy was a Big East member and has solid football (plus history in basketball), UCF is the largest university in the country and has solid football, and UH was often mentioned on this board as a PAC expansion goal.
