CU-Stanford Game Thread - 1:30PM - ESPN

I'll put beers at Folsom at a game in 2021 (assuming we can go) that it does with you Snow. Seen from Wilner that Berkeley's contact tracing protocols are far more intensive than Palo Alto's are.
They are. I walked by Cal's practice field today and they still have all the weight benches set up outside as indoor gyms are still not allowed.

Its amazing that espn spends a gajillion dollars on rights fees and then blows their personnel budget on freaks like stephen a smith instead of competent announcers.

This. Even though they do have Chris Fowler (who used to respond when I'd tweet him about CU when we stunk) and Herbstreit (best analyst in the sport and its not close).

They've solidified their MNF booth though-Levy and Griese are solid........even with Louis Riddick being a football wonk.

Levy and Griese are the best MNF has had since Gruden, but that isn't saying much, as they are very average. Griese says some mind numbingly stupid things sometimes.

That's an upgrade over Booger-who only knew how to say mind-numbingly stupid ****.

If Jack West starts for them Saturday, stuff the ****ing box and make him beat us.

In each schools last 5 games the Buffs are 3 - 2 including last years win over Stanford.
Stanford is 0 - 5
Yet, Buffs are +7.5 @ Stanford. That is a decent bet, if one does such things. I said this last week regarding the UCLA game, and Colorado beat the spread by 11.

So did Costello leave Stanford because he wanted to play somewhere else, or was he not going to start this year?

Costello got injured, then benched, but I agree that Stanford seemed ready to build with Davis Mills.

Last year, Costello started against Colorado, then Mills started the last three games of the season, which were all losses for Stanford.

Costello then transferred to try and rebuild some of his draft stock.

This is Mills’ game log from 2019:
