CU vs. UCLA

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Curse of Boulder Valley, also known as Niwot's Curse, is attributed to Chief Niwot, who is said to have first stated it upon meeting the first white gold seekers to visit what is now known as the Boulder Valley in Boulder County, Colorado. According to the chief, the curse of the valley was its breathtaking landscape.[1]

Niwot was the leader of the Southern Arapaho. The visitors were encamped at what the Arapaho considered to be a sacred site, Valmont Butte, some four miles to the north east of what is now central Boulder, Colorado. Niwot and his closest elder braves, Bear Head and Many Whips, rode out to the site where the new arrivals had decided to camp, near the place where Boulder Creek releases from the Front Range onto the Great Plains. Some see the Curse as portentous of the settling of not only the Boulder Valley, but of the entire Western United States.[citation needed]
There it is! That’s the curse my wife said must exist…. This team has been too bad for too long for this JUST about crappy coaching and administration .. all of this has become so bad it seems supernatural….

Hmmm. This might make a really good book… or script. (Have to find some form of happy ending, though, and I don’t see one any time soon.)

Why are CU people still engaging Chev? Odds are this team looks just as incompetent if he's in charge.

Blow this ****ing train wreck up and bring in people from outside.
If he had been made HC, a different set of players/starters would have left, maybe along with the ones who did. Ultimately, it didn’t matter at all—except for the contract we are going to have to eat now.

Well, the only thing good that came out of attending the game this weekend was a nice Nike pullover that some dude left behind when he hightailed it out at halftime and never returned and the free spicy chicken sandwiches that were leftover after the game from the concessions. Guess when half the stadium exits after half time and the rest at the beginning of the 4th quarter, they don't sell as many overpriced chicken sandwiches.
