Hey, I heard a week or so ago that an extension was done (if that's what you're talking about). Been complete silence since then w/r/t timing of an announcement, though. BOR meeting is tomorrow, which I figured was to vote on the contract, but here's the agenda...You just gotta believe!

Yeah, that's not it. But minutes from the January 10th meeting show the board going into executive session about a "personnel matter" in CU Athletics, so that might be.
Must be about Tad.
That meeting obviously set the parameters for the negotiations and this one tomorrow will hopefully wrap it up. There could be another potential flexible Loan or LOC to the AD to help roundup the needs of the contract versus just approving it. The budget needs to balance and cannot just be projections, and with the volatility of Prime, you just need to have the financial cover for the contract, which could be say $140 Million over 7 years if every single thing were to happen per the contract. between coach and staff

I think he's figuring 20 million with Primes contract and the assistant pool.
I doubt it will be that, but if Prime gets 10- 11 million hopefully the total number isn't far from 20 million
Google says that the avg assistant pool is between $6-$9M and then Prime for $11 = $20M and then even if it is never going to last forever, a 7-year contract is beginning to be typical.
I freaking research and as much as I despise AI, it is incredibly good at finding information to make pretty logical assessments.
