Deion Sanders - HC Jackson State

Not necessarily expecting anyone to have any answers or inside information. But, at this point, how likely is an extension? What are your thoughts/feelings on this? Are they that far apart on negotiating? I know there's no deadline to these things and an extension can be signed at any time. I was just expecting something would get done in December or January...

If CU doesn’t come up with the money to pay this man then I’m out for good…plenty of other things to spend my time on during Saturdays in the fall. We’ve spent the last 20 + years wandering around in the college football desert. We finally have our Moses to lead us to the land of milk and honey and we are ****ing around over a few million dollars. If CU isn’t serious about football now, they never will be.

I think 7-5 next year is fine. 8-4 would be great. We just need to show we can win without Travis and Shedeur. Then the floodgates will open with this staff.

CU definitely lost a ton of skill position talent. That said Prime is incredibly adept at brining in skill position players. I believe CU will be excellent at WR, CB and QB this year despite the losses. Travis is a generational talent so yes CU will be slightly worse. That said CU is going to be improved on the lines again and that means even with a drop in QB talent the results should be similar. I’d expect the running game and the d to improve because of those lines. To this point in his career, when Coach Prime is at the same school, he has never had a team with a worse record than the year before. It won’t happen this year either. Sure 8-4 could happen, but I am guessing that is the floor.

I just took another look at the schedule.

Assuming we come out respectable, that 3 game stretch of BYU, @TCU, ISU is going to define our season.
