DeSoto Boys - coming out party?

On the roster at WR currently I can see 2 maybe 3 that have a legit shot to make it in the league with Shenault being #1.

They were not redshirted because they want to play, and because our illustrious Blackout Boyz will not play special teams anymore, so you do see the Desoto boys on coverage and return teams. However, somehow Evans stepped in front of KD on kickoffs. Is there any chance that KD was hurt?

I hope STs are enough to keep them in Boulder both can transfer to just about any school they wish. I'm still not clear why Ento is being red shirted and with the addition of Brown and the current commits there seems to be a glut at the position next year.

Ento is a true senior with a redshirt available and given the logjam at WR, he decided to redshirt so he could have a better chance at starting. If Ento was playing, wouldn’t that take away playing time from KD and Viska?

This ensures that we have quality depth at WR next season even after losing Fields, Bobo, and Ross.

Laviska and dixon being wasted, not an unusual thing for a RS to be wasted at CU.
I’d like to see them get more run on offense but both are seeing valuable time on Special Teams and getting used to the college game, in general. This isn’t abnormal and it should pay dividends next year and after.

And this is what needs to change for recruiting and CU to continue to rise and as much as I would like to rant it won't make any difference. Eluding to my inquiry about the logic of red shirting Ento, last season when he caught a pass he was good for YAC, something that is killing this season's team...it has none.

Both will play a bunch next year, I would assume. Shenault looks like he could be an all conference player with his size, speed, and catching ability. Who knows what our RB position is going to look like next year, but I would bet KD is involved quite a bit.

They were both more prepared to play D1 football more so than 95% of most 18 yr olds the day they stepped on campus. I might be a homer (TXn) still Shenault has shown himself and opposing kickers are already kicking away from Nixon. Every play involving either is covered in the Dallas media and can make or break future recruiting. Heaven forbid one or both transfers.

Doubt you care or not and I'm not saying KD can't return punts, just saying its hard as hell no matter who ur.
Blackmon has done well, KD hasn't been put into return a punt so we have no idea how he'd do. JMac sufficed but had his moments and Oliver was a fail safe.

Laviska gets one pass a game, KD not playing more is puzzling. They'll both be huge contributors next year.
