Games thread - MEN'S Bball scheduled to host ASU (Thurs., 2/24/22, 7:00 PM MT) and #2 Arizona (Sat., 6:00 PM MT, SENIOR DAY)

Wow. I thought with the road trip, the bumpy ride of a growth year we knew was coming would smooth out a little bit.

No hoper. Well, we had a good little stretch of games. ASU came here looking for revenge and they’re getting it. We aren’t defending the home court very well this year. Maybe the most disappointing thing this season.

Reading their own press clippings, they had this won before they stepped on the court .

Forgot to ask the opponent if they had read how awesome we were

What a half-assed and disgraceful effort. One of the least energetic, and most embarrassing home losses in the Boyle era. Boyle’s program can never maintain a consistently high level of play.

Our D allowed them to get into a rhythm shooting and ASU gained confidence and couldn’t miss. The Buffs totally the opposite.

Tough loss. If you ever make it over to the Events Center, you might notice that most of the banners, hardware, etc., associated with CU basketball are from the last 12 years. Other than that, there's 1996, perhaps some late 60s stuff, and other stuff that dates to when the M-1 Garand was the U.S. military's primary service rifle. That's it.

Well, I turned it a few minutes into the second half. I'd seen enough. It looks like I didn't miss anything, geez.
