Guess the Attendance: Texas State

This is good.

I'll be interested to see if UNCo is able to cause a bump of a couple thousand local fans who don't normally go to CU games. Would be good if that was a decent enough draw where it could be the "go to" when CU has a one-off home slot it needs to fill. I'd rather have that body bag money support the Bears' program than some random FCS - especially if the game draws better for CU anyway.

We'll see about the student section, but I'm not expecting the rest of the crowd to look larger than last year's opener. Season ticket and student sports pass increases will account for most of the difference in the announced numbers this week and next compared to last year. The map still has a ton of seats available.

The lambs drew 27K in their shiny new, on campus stadium. Some things never change.

What are the odds that before the end of this season they have a game with less than 20k? It may never get announced because the AD would pad the house to avoid the embarrassment but CSU fans are going to be CSU fans, a new stadium doesn't change that.
