Guess the Attendance: Texas State

Well CSU drew slightly more for this year's FCS team than last year's FCS team which was UNC. Maybe so far so good for those Rammies.

Also- I don't want to hear any bitching about Students showing up this year. Students A) sold out the passes for the year and B) were there for a noon kick against a lower division opponent.

I would wager that the student section was, as a percentage, more full than the rest of Folsom.

Nice job, students!

Student section was more full than the rest of Folsom. Not expecting it to be great this weekend but with that 8pm kick against UW...look out. Might have even more than the UCLA game last year.

No name team + cu buffs fans = sub 40k attendance

This is why we need to end the stupid series in Denver and have at least one quality OOC opponent in Folsom. Don't mind the easy wins but we need to give the season ticket holders more value.

Give those season ticket holders that increased value (and going to Denver for a game isn't doing that) along with putting a consistent high quality team on the field (8-9 wins minimum, legit shot to win the conference on a regular basis) and we see the season ticket total go up substantially, easily enough to move the weaker OOC games well over 40k.

Do those things, especially the winning and we start seeing Folsom selling out for the ranked opponents. When that happens the people who just want to buy a game or two per year find themselves buying Texas State or UNC because they are concerned that if they don't they won't be able to get tickets to other games.

It will take time to get there but a combination of consistent winning and better scheduling in Boulder and we can see the demand develop for all games.
