You don't hire OC's because they are good recruiters.Guess im more concerned about the top 10 recruiter part of his resume. Chev would still control the offense if he’s the HC

You dont think people talk? You think the HC of MSU just quit and nobody knew it was coming. They knew he was gone. They knew their target. They paid the money and got MfT. You really think all this happened in 24 hours?
You are right. I never knew a coach that didnt have people always looking for the bigger better job.
So they were already looking. Listen IDK its already done, just saying I dont think this was a surprise. I think we were played for a while. Its over, we move on, just dont believe this was done in 3 days.
Rumors came out on Saturday? Was gone midnight Monday? Are we questioning hours?Who said it was done in three days? Only you keep bringing it up.
It was midnight Tuesday, wasnt it?Rumors came out on Saturday? Was gone midnight Monday? Are we questioning hours?
Kinda crazy we have had basically zero news
Oh ****, maybe, its been a long couple days, not this withstanding. Ok I stand corrected 4 days. Huge difference..It was midnight Tuesday, wasnt it?
Who knows if Tucker was in contact with them prior to last Friday, but I think it's fair to say that everybody is being played by somebody. Someday Michigan State will be played with too.So they were already looking. Listen IDK its already done, just saying I dont think this was a surprise. I think we were played for a while. They drug their feet until mid-late January before apparently deciding they were intent on going a different direction. At most, they were ready to move on a week (maybe two) before Dantonio pulled the plug. Of course Tucker was on their list, but he was also a clear second. So there was probably interest sometime earlier in the week, but not at all with the timeline you suggested that Kap was turning down jobs weeks ago because he knew Tucker as the second choice would get the job. Your theory makes no sense.
Kap likes Mel, followed him here. Kap turned down better jobs than CU. Why? I guess we will see if he follows Mel to MSU. Hope I am wrong and he stays. They drug their feet until mid-late January before apparently deciding they were intent on going a different direction. I have friends that are coaches. Typically some kind of notice comes out way before it hits the media. Always back door negotiations going on.1) Do you know any coaches?
2) I also never knew a person who makes up wild conspiracies that didn't **** bunnies.
See? You can make up all sorts of **** if you don't care about anything but your preferred theory.
It's been stated that Kap had Colorado as a place he was interested in possibly coaching long before Tucker took the job.Kap likes Mel, followed him here. Kap turned down better jobs than CU. Why? I guess we will see if he follows Mel to MSU. Hope I am wrong and he stays.
I hate to be an Allbuff, but you got proof? He wanted to be here before MT?It's been stated that Kap had Colorado as a place he was interested in possibly coaching long before Tucker took the job.
Didnt MT say this was a dream job? Did Kap say that after he got here? Just coach speak? It's been stated that Kap had Colorado as a place he was interested in possibly coaching long before Tucker took the job.

"The funny thing was when this job opened, this was before I knew who was getting it or anything," he said. "I remember telling my wife that this would be the best opportunity because this is obviously a beautiful place to live for my family, brand new facilities, [and] the Pac-12 is open at this point — you don’t have this hierarchy like there used to be. It all came together."
Why doesn’t he get an interview?Interview with Chris Kapilovic Part I: Taking the job

Awesome, hope this is true, we will see if he stays.Interview with Chris Kapilovic Part I: Taking the job

I'll throw a name out there- How about Chuck Pagano?
Boulder guy, tons of college experience before the pros.
The 5-7 coach with only one year of head coaching experience wasn’t their first choice.
Pat Narduzzi and Luke Fickell turned them down. Fickell was expected to take the job and met with them on campus before turning it down on Monday because he didn’t like the feel of it or whatever.
That wasn’t predictable and not something that could have been anticipated. Fickell wouldn’t have had such serious talks with them if people at other schools already knew he was going to turn them down.
hopefully he does. It is deservedWhy doesn’t he get an interview?
