He took a risk on hiring Charlie Weis' son as the OC and he's still pretty young. But he had Kendal Briles as his first OC at FAU and you can't deny that he would find the best OC out there.

FAU started a freshman at QB this season so there's that. FAU also had a RB go over 1,000 yards with 22 TDs and the backup RB had 866 yards plus 8 TDs.

The Owls had losses by just one score four times in conference play. If Kiffin returns, the Owls might very well bounce back. The Owls were competitive with UCF and it was one big 3Q that led UCF to a 20 point victory over the Owls.

But do I want him as the CU HC? Nah.
