LaViska Declares for NFL Draft.

It's just one of 100 mock drafts, he's not going top 10 but I have a hard time seeing him fall out of 1st. . .especially after his combine.

We’ll see, nothing shameful about that spot either though. I do agree with you, I think he’s a 1st round talent, sometimes positions of need over rule that though. We see 1st round grade players all the time drop into the early 2nd. I think no matter what if Viska gets and stays healthy, he’s going to impress.

And I think that affects his stock. Physical guy who played 2 seasons and had injury issues in both ... that's not a good look.

Holy crap guys...suppose he can take classes online to finish his degree?

Nine credits could be just three classes. If those are accounting classes, they aren’t difficult & can be taken online.

Do declared, draft eligible juniors play in these all-Star games like Senior Bowl?
Don't know that playing in a game like the Senior bowl would help Viska anyways. He has proven he can beat the best athletes when matched up.

His combine/pro day is going to be bigger. Show that his measurables are real, answer questions about his speed, and show that he is back and healthy.

Agree. He also needs to show he can catch ball in traffic, especially 50/50 ball.
In the end, draft eligible juniors do t play on these games.

I don't think they have a lot of questions on him with 50/50 balls. He grabbed some balls from Montez that should have been INTs. He also caught some balls that led him into brutal hits and he not only held on but in some cases turned them into YAC.

A bigger question I think is does he have the speed that will allow him to get separation from NFL corners. They know he can win strength battles but can he maintain a gap when he beats a guy.

He is going to absolutely kill the combine...speed is not a concern with him. When he's healthy, he is a 4.4 guy. Teams will fall in love with his physique, and I think that he will shine most in his interviews. He is a quiet, smart, hungry, thoughtful young man that only cares about being successful...that will really resonate with NFL leadership (compared with some of the diva types they are used to seeing at WR).

For these reasons, I expect he will quickly create buzz for himself in Indy, and the only question remaining for him will be whether or not he can stay healthy. I think teams will look deeper into his injury history and be comforted by the fact that he has avoided major injuries, and the injuries he did sustain could/should be attributed to being overused on a bad FB team. Combine this with the fact that he is one of the most explosive and versatile offensive weapons in this draft, and that's the basis for why I think he is one of the top two WR taken in this draft.

I'd like to see what you are saying come true but I don't think he is one of the first two WRs off the board, I do think though that a team falls in love with him and drafts him in the first round.

Playing at a position were being a Diva is normal and guys like AB get multiple opportunities his attitude and personality will be a breath of fresh air.

And if he can stay healthy there will be a bunch of teams who wish they had drafted him instead of taking someone else.

Please, oh please let him be drafted by the Saints. Such a great landing spot for him. While the 49ers sounds like a great spot, they don’t use their WRs nearly as much and when they do throw the ball, it’s typically to their all world TE.
And for the love of all that’s good and precious in the world, don’t let him end up on the Raiders (although even I can admit he would be a freak there).

No. He totally needs to do that now during what will be one of the most stressful and crucial periods of his life!
Stressful? He’s about to become a millionaire! That’s not stressful. That’s exciting. This is the most exciting time in his life.
