Man, it was cool to watch. Seeing some players step up and talk about situations, and Tad let them, was cool as ****. He gets it. Fellas played their ass off tonight, props. Limu emu and doug can eat a dick, btw.I would pay a significant premium for all future Buffs broadcasts if I could get no commercials & mic'd up coaches. This is the way to watch hoops on tv.
If you can watch a replay, it will be worth it. The mic'd up coaches was ridiculously good.Didn't get to watch the game, had to follow on my phone.
Sounds like we controlled the entire game, never really in doubt. That's awesome.
Bey came to play - he can dominate any team he wants to. Just gotta figure out how to get him to want it all the time.
Love Battey getting another 3.
Go BUFFS!
1.5 games does not make elite, but best effort yet! 1 turnover in the first 15 seconds, then clean ball and a sweet dunkEli Parquet becoming elite before our eyes.
I looked on both fs1 and pac12 - no replay scheduled. If you can watch a replay, it will be worth it. The mic'd up coaches was ridiculously good.
10 minute highlights.
Bey destroyed him. Total mismatch in our favorTres Tinkle's shooting last night was a thing of beauty - for us. 3-15, 1-4 from 3.
I don't necessarily have anything against him, but he's been a pain in our asses for years, do it's nice to shut his ass down.
A tourney run would do wonders for usIt could be a long time before kids in the P-12 area are looking favorably at CU, based on the football team. So, it's important our marketing people take advantage of this BB success. Not my area, but some So Cal billboards, ads in HS papers, radio spots???
The only thing that matters is he’s becoming solid enough to keep Kountz on the bench full time.1.5 games does not make elite, but best effort yet! 1 turnover in the first 15 seconds, then clean ball and a sweet dunk
Great fun for basketball fans. No clue why coaches would want this to be more than a novelty...Found an article on the origins of the FS1 mic'd up coaches broadcast from 2018. Can't believe there hasn't been more of these. I hope the f bomb from Tinkle in the locker room doesn't thwart future broadcast. Someone fell asleep at the switch on that one. I learned more about what goes on in huddles and halftime speeches than I ever knew.

Kountz played 6 minutes and did not attempt a FG. There's nothing to glean about his game from last night. That was a great win. Seeing Tad and Tinkle miked up was pretty cool. Last year in Boulder, I sat behind Tinkle and was amazed at how well/hard he coached the entire game. Then to see Tad so in control and coach excellent was amazing. Huge games from Bey and Parquet, but the big story is whole team playing great defense. Based on past NCAA performances, I did not really buy-in to the thought of CU making it to the 2nd round of the tournament; but now I am solidly on the bandwagon (the Buffs played Ore well, just did not finish).
There are still question marks on offense, but for most games they have somehow found guys with hot hands. Although, it is concerning that each night a few guys just go cold. Last night it was Kountz. Against Cal it was Seiwart.
When he has played, he has not been playing with confidence. You can't be a Shooting Guard at this level if ball movement gets you a wide open 3pt look and you don't have the confidence to take the shot. I don't get mad at guys for missing those, I get mad at them for being gun shy.Kountz played 6 minutes and did not attempt a FG. There's nothing to glean about his game from last night.
That’s funny because he said at the 12 min mark “we own them the last 10 minutes.”Right on Coach:
“We have to admit it. It was a woodshed job,” OSU coach Wayne Tinkle said. “They took us behind it and gave it to us.”

Agreed, I'd really like to see him be confident about taking guys off the bounce too, he seems to be one the best candidates for that for the next couple of seasons. When he has played, he has not been playing with confidence. To me, that's analogous to saying that a team can't shoot from 3 based on a slow start (like the Stanford game). It's a very small sample. We can glean that he's completely lost confidence in his jumper and only looks to score going to the basket.

I have no idea how much time or work would involved, but could that be up-loaded to YouTube? I'd love to watch the whole game againJust watched the game on DVR.
The All Access broadcast was dope.
Tad starts and finishes with defense, and it shows in all of his teams; occasionally in a bad way when they get lost on offense.
Tinkle burnt himself out, lost his coat and then his tie before the under 12 break, and his voice was going before the half. He ran out of steam and so did his team.
A few makes from the Beavers and that game might have evolved completely differently, there's no counting on seeing your opponent go 1-16 from 3 on the road. A lot of that was good defense, but even then you might expect more like 4-16, and a few more FTs to go in as well.
I'm sure it's been gone over and over, and Casey Jacobsen commented on it too; but, it was awesome to see Kin and Evan being vocal in the huddle. Oregon State is a very veteran team too, Kelly, Tinkle, Reichle, Thompson, and Hollins are all upperclassmen and play the most minutes, and they were all quiet. There was a stark difference in culture between the two teams and it made Colorado look really good.
Favorite moment was Tad calling himself out for not being good about recognizing things like D'Shawn's B-day and saying, I guess you get a win and a broken nose.
Maybe the P-12 Net could make this a regular thing. I imagine they could use a boost in viewership. And their normal announcers aren't that hot.You can let a **** or two go after midnight Eastern time.
