Time to shut it down.

Useless thread two years ago, useless thread today.

/bump.

getting closer to closing time. Ralphie takes another shot of whiskey and quietly surveys the remaining pool of candidates in the bar as it empties.

steeling herself and knowing she will be filled with regrets and possibly a bit of nausea sooner than later, she hikes up her skirt a little and straightens her boobs and tries to make eye contact.

helfrich, head down, and muttering into his PBR, all alone at a corner table, feels the eyes upon him and glances up. he sees Ralphie's tired somewhat forlorn smile. he hasn't stood up for a couple hours so his knees creak and buckle a little as he climbs off the bar stool. he does his best to walk confidently and reasonably straight over to Ralphie.

haven't i seen you around here before? he says. she winks and let's him buy her a drink.

it is a story told every saturday night.

I'm sure he's solid at OC, but his HC stint was a disaster, he didn't rehab himself much in the NFL, and hasn't coached in 3 years

I just don't see why he's overly appealing. Even if we gave him a pass that HC at Oregon is a tough job (it really isn't) at the wrong time for him, doesn't feel like he has done anything to change in the years since

As nik put it on the first page, dude was gifted the keys to a Ferrari and drove it right into the neighbor's house

Just in case his name comes up for real - please remember that this is the guy who managed to pull Oregon down to being a 4-win team.
Yeah, but does he still have Phil Knight on speed dial? If he can land some sweet size 7 kicks…

no more retreads.

find a coordinator with a system and who has proven recruiting chops. overpay the coordinator on the other side of the ball. throw money at increasing the support structure.
