Yes, because we don't have a decent PG to control the O.Does this team move less on offense than usual Tad teams?

Not at all. That place was GLORIOUS!Is that supposed to be an insult? Because I loved it and am sad it’s gone.
ISU is REALLY good. That said, I fear this is more what we're going to look like in conference play.Haven't been able to watch, but by the looks good f the team numbers, are we just giving up too many easy looks?
28 points off of 13 turnovers so far. It feels like way more than 13 turnovers because every single one has resulted in a bucket for ISU.Haven't been able to watch, but by the looks good f the team numbers, are we just giving up too many easy looks?
Jakimovski and Malone are very clearly the best players on the team. Baskin is probably 3rd.Well the code was cracked. Ball pressure, double Malone and everyone else will choke and turn it over. Tad can’t out coach that deficiency in the Big XII. It was nice while it lasted. Hammond probably the best player on the team.
From an all-around perspective, I'd put Ruffin at 4th.Jakimovski and Malone are very clearly the best players on the team. Baskin is probably 3rd.
Hammond does have a really pretty shooting stroke. It's just he has so many other deficiencies. He'd be great as a first bench guard who can nail shots. He's not up to being a lead guard in the best conference in the country. From an all-around perspective, I'd put Ruffin at 4th.
Yeah, looking like yesterday might be the highlight of the year by far.Well, it was fun for a few hours yesterday, but I’m back to looking forward to spring football.
Maybe physically. Box score says different in Maui. Baskin 3rd is a laugher, dude has like 6pts in 3 games.Jakimovski and Malone are very clearly the best players on the team. Baskin is probably 3rd.
Ah, so you're that guy who looks only at box scores and exclusively PPG. Got it.Maybe physically. Box score says different in Maui. Baskin 3rd is a laugher, dude has like 6pts in 3 games.
Went to the Big 12 tourney last year and they made Jayhawk fans look pleasant by comparison.Cyclones just throwing up prayers and getting every one answered. They may be my new most hated conference opponent.
18 turnovers goes a long way towards giving up some easy buckets while also making a team feel confident & aggressive, which improves their shot making. So much of sports is momentum and when you don't take care of the ball it hands the mo to the opponent.ISU shot 60%. That wasn't necessarily on our defense. They won't hit that number again the rest of the year. They were chucking it up and everything was going in.
No rebuttal, got it. “Ball don’t lie,”Ah, so you're that guy who looks only at box scores and exclusively PPG. Got it.
I dislike watching Hammond more than about any player at CU in the last 20 years. He's a turnover machine, with little athleticism, who thinks he is much better than he is. This team is going nowhere this year, but the head coach appears to have a lifetime contract. No rebuttal, got it. “Ball don’t lie,”
CU has been beat by nearly 30 in 2 of 3 games. The common theme: those three players were absolutely erased. The only consistent bright spot, because I watched the games, was Hammond. In no way am I a Hammond homer, it’s just the facts and he’s the only player that can handle the rock.
Where were you yesterday?I dislike watching Hammond more than about any player at CU in the last 20 years. He's a turnover machine, with little athleticism, who thinks he is much better than he is. This team is going nowhere this year, but the head coach appears to have a lifetime contract.
Fair question. I thought yesterday's win was a fluke, and even then, was not very impressed with UConn. Let's see how the season progresses.Where were you yesterday?

He *covers* the women's team for the Camera. So, yes, he's naturally more tuned into their narrative then then the men.Howell seems to love the women's basketball team. I just thought it was funny that he mentioned them in his one tweet about the men's upset of UConn.
Tad is the best coach we’ve ever had. We needed a legit PG this year and unfortunately he struck out.I dislike watching Hammond more than about any player at CU in the last 20 years. Hammond part = Amen. Tad part = Dude, c'mon.I dislike watching Hammond more than about any player at CU in the last 20 years.
