Which may be more than they win this year. I think I chose 6 wins after seeing their pre-season games.

What’s your model S&C program that Colorado should aspire to have?
I always said Michigan State.

The biggest surprise to me of the Tad Boyle era is that the program was built on defense and rebounding but, unlike Sparty, we have never gotten close to having a basketball team that looks like football players.

Wooof. We didnt belong. Guard play was bad. The youth from last year is really not developing offensively

MSU aside as they're at a different level, I've brought this up before, but when i go watch DePaul games (and they're the perennial bottom-feeder of the Big East) they always have 4-5 studs on the roster (i.e., 6-10 guys that look like football players).

I think it's more recruiting than anything. These guys are out there, we just don't go after them for whatever reason.

How much of that is recruiting versus S&C tho?

Like Coen Carr, Jaxon Koehler, Zapala all their football typer players were recruited with that body type had nothing to do with their S&C?

Cause they aren't 6-7 combo guards / wings who are left handed and can play 2-4, but none of them well.

I told a friend that I would be happy if we made the NIT this year and that it was a reasonable goal for this team. At this point, I think it would be blowing expectations out of the water. But I don't really know that much about hoops... I just feel absolutely no rhythm or flow with this team. There's not a single player I'm excited about.
