Really, love Nevada, where do I send the deposit? In that case, I have some really cool oceanfront property in Nevada that is for sale.
Oh yeah, I forgot you don't take any of this too seriously. Carry on
Very confused about how a coach at one institution can have something to do with another related to coaching and interference???
According to The Detroit News, Saban reportedly assisted with Michigan State's coaching search and gave Tucker his seal of approval.
**** you Saban, **** you MSU
I was waiting for him to call me 'big guy'.Is it just a coincidence that he's dressed like Dr. Evil?
I don't even blame MSU. I think what they did was stupid, but they didn't sell Tucker's soul, they bought it.There is nothing wrong with what Saban did.
God, I hope not.Well, now you know why.
Between the Buffs, Dolphins, and now Broncos its been a long tired run of getting upset about things that I have no control over. Though I was starting to believe with the Tucker hire that we were getting back on the right path.
Money is making this business feel more like the NFL. The more the money grows the scummier this going to get. There is no loyalty it seems.
RG got us Mel Tucker. My belief is he will find us someone else of the same caliber. I just wish we could keep someone so there was consistency again.
What do you gain by coming into these threads during times like these and making condescending comments? If you are indifferent because of so much letdown in your sports fandom, then just refrain from being part of the discussions.Well, now you know why.

Just a reference. I’m sure RG talked to Saban a while back as wellVery confused about how a coach at one institution can have something to do with another related to coaching and interference???

I feel sorry for the basketball team. Freakin killing it right now on the court and should be getting tons of national attention. Now Mel Tucker and coaching talk with take over the CU narrative
How many Clemson, Georgia, Bama, etc assistants do you hear from? How many Coordinators or other assistants lead their programs out on the field? College football is 100% about the head coach and building the brand. Bigger the brand of the HC, the more high level recruits want to play there. They were taking the right approach with Tucker. Everything was done extremely well and CU was on it's way.In hindsight, it bugged me that Tucker had a habit of running out in front of the team, and he seldom gave his assistants opportunities to speak. I didn’t hear much from Chev or the other coaches starting with camp. I chalked it up to him building his brand in year 1. Little did I know that the brand he was building was mostly about Mel.
Can’t spell Mel with out Me first.

Not a good look by George to be sure.Maybe Tucker wanted to address the team and Rick George told him to pound sand. Based on RG's comments, I think it's likely that they no longer have a good relationship.
How so? Why should Rick George allow Tucker to speak with the team? Not a good look by George to be sure.
The players are obviously pretty pissed off if you look at twitter and stuff. If you consider they were told he was coming back on Saturday on social media and then they didn't talk to him and he was gone a couple days later I don't think it was a good idea to let them have a farewell meeting. Not a good look by George to be sure.

Nobody is going to read past the point in this post where you derided Debbie Gibson.A digression....
My building has the most God awful muzak. It is a mix of 80, 90's music, often reduced to some crappy rendition by an unknown studio band. Occasionally, we are treated to the original artists rendition, but that is usually limited to such musical giants as Boyz II Men and Debbie Gibson. On this fine day, however, it was Stray Cats "Rock This Town", original artist version, playing as I headed to the john.
Standing before the mirror is a tall skinny dude in blue jeans, a blue jean jacket and sunglasses, combing his long greasy black hair with a black plastic pocket comb. I so much wanted ask: "when do you go on stage?", but I didn't.
As I sat listening to Brian Setzer belt out his tune, it came to me. As far as the last HC goes, we should just flush.
Not a good look by George to be sure.
After what just went down, only Mike Bohn would be that incompetentNot a good look by George to be sure.
