Men's basketball - 2021 March Madness Selection Sunday (Selection show on CB beginning at 4:00 PM MT; #5 seed Buffs open up against Georgetown)

Don't know much about Georgetown but they're just on a hot streak so on the surface I like the draw. IF we win FSU is a tough 2nd round draw.

Both announcers (Kellog and the other guy) both like Georgetown to win.

CSU is the #2 replacement team if Covid-19 is a problem for any of the selected teams. (Louisville is replacement #1.)

Seems Georgetown is definitely the strongest 12 seed.

Goergetown is a turnover machine and plays much like the Buffs: 35-37 minutes a game, but fubars enough to blow leads and games they should win!

Should be decent match up. Their bigs aren't real quick.

Georgetown is 55 in KemPom. Surrounded by teams like Drake, Louisville, Michigan State, Minnesota.
They’re 64 in NET surrounded by Saint Mary’s, Indiana, Kentucky, and Auburn.

Hmm. Georgetown is peaking, that's for sure. But BYU must not be too happy with MSU/UCLA.

I think it'll be tough, but I wonder if Georgetown has peaked........difference between them and like an Oregon State. Rodents might have gotten an NIT bid (probably would have in a normal season), but Georgetown was 9-12 going into the Big East tourney and then got a huge break with the Gillespie injury.
