I get it, though. They didn't have enough to win a title this year. Kyrie with Luka gives them a shot, I guess.
Yeah, if he actually plays basketball instead of all the other stuff he gets involved in. His talent, there is no question there.
Derrick with 26 in the first half.
I don't know if I've ever seen a guy like him. Discounted at every level of basketball but worked, developed & figured it out to eventually become great at every level. Inspiring role model for kids.

He did have to try and guard an angry Uncle Jeff Green and that did not go well.
Keep fighting Kin
Kin's size is always going to be an issue in the NBA, as hard as he tries guys will physically dominate him.
despite that issue he can be a contributor to a club smart enough to give him a spot and let him be a leader

I didnt see the game, what happened? Kin shouldn't be guarding a 6'8" PF...maybe switched off on.
They switched him onto Green, who had a foul on Luka he was not happy about, and he put on a season best performance and was highly motivated to score and dominate, and Kin was just part of that action. First time Kin got in, he actually got beat pretty bad by a few guys and they pulled him back out, then his second run was better, but he does have to work extra hard to physically battle big dudes.

Kin has played 3 straight 20 minute games for the Mavs. In those games averaging 8 ppg, 4.7 rbg, 3.3 apg on close to 50, 40, 80 shooting splits. So happy for him. Wasn’t sure if he’d get his chance. Having a really good second year.
