NBA (and other pro league) Buffs

You were just looking out for his mental well being. He’s hard a hard season and really deserves a nice long trip in Cancun.

He’d probably thank you if he knew.
I heard references to the Cancun trip on TV last night, but didnt catch what they were talking about other than the Lakers being able to enjoy more of their off season now they are done.

Williams, da Silva, Simpson all made it (oh and Clifford)

That's the deal though, does Da Saliva have both? You better, because you're going against grown ass men now and I've seen you disappear before. Wish the best for you.

In basketball, true shooting percentage is an advanced statistic that measures a player's efficiency at shooting the ball.[1] It is intended to more accurately calculate a player's shooting than field goal percentage, free throw percentage, and three-point field goal percentage taken individually. Two- and three-point field goals and free throws are all considered in its calculation. It is abbreviated TS%.

What is his next contract going to look like? Is he going to.get something like 4/$135. Definitely his last chance at a payout since he is 29 now.

He would look so good in a Nuggets jersey
What could have been?

San Antonio traded him to Boston for Josh Richardson, Romeo Langford, and a 1st. Richardson is a career 10ppg solid bench guy, Langford is a journeyman deeper on the bench guy. The first round pick turned out to be the 25th pick, Blake Wesley who is another end of the bench guy.

Nobody knew at the time that White was going to explode but imagine if the Nuggets had worked out a trade for him. It wouldn't have required any of the core players but probably KCP and a couple bench guys.

Most of us here knew. He was the same on the Spurs just without the players around him to elevate his game. His shot certainly exploded though. Guy can flat out shoot now.

If the GMs in the league had any idea SA would have gotten a lot more for him. A lot of us here wanted him because he was a Buff, a Colorado kid, and is truly a quality person but the Celtics were the ones who made the move, a move that a lot of GMs could have easily beaten if they had a sense of what was coming.

Would have been hard to trade KCP considering he wasn't on the team at the time...

Nugs looked into White. Couldn't offer what SAT wanted.

Yeah, that was still Will Barton at the time, time flies.

Point is that if any GM in the league had had an idea that White was going to be this good they would have figured out how to make the trade happen including Denver. Nuggets didn't have a lot of flexibility but considering that SA got two bench players and a late 1st another team including Denver could have figured out how to beat that.

I posted earlier the players Boston gave up. Neither is a guy you look at as building around and they aren't young as well.

Dude, you’re using serious revisionist history. At the time Romeo Langford was in his third year and was only 22. This was a kid who was a big time recruit and had all of the measurables. He was first in B1G scoring as a freshman. Everyone knew he had all the talent in the world and lots thought he just needed the right situation to turn it around. Looking back a few years later it is clear that wasn’t true but he had actual value.

Josh Richardson was a solid 3 & D guy. That year prior to the trade he was shooting almost 40% from 3 and playing 24 mpg off of the bench for Boston. At the time he and White were the same age and some thought he was a better defender than White.

They also gave up a first round pick and earned a pick swap in 2028.

Quay MIller got waived by the Seattle Storm

I think that leaves Sherrod and Hollingshed still trying to make a team
