Seems like the Wildcats are struggling to run the football. I think CU is going to come after the QBQB and force him to throw the ball. It seems like maybe CU will run the ball more often in this one and set up play action bombs to put the game away early.

This will be the last time we play a FCS team until 2024 unless a team drops us between 2019 and that year.

Sounds like Nebraska fans want to drop us. Heh heh heh.

The Wildcats appear to be undersized at every position with the exception of 1 6’4” WR

UNH's starting QB went down against Maine...no word if UNH fans are attacking t the Maine player who hurt his shoulder on Twitter.

So this was an actual injury, not a slight twist/sprain? With someone in the wrong place at the wrong time catching Mtn Dew-smelling, hot breathed insults from thick-fingered goons?

New Hampshire will be a different test. Work out some things, iron them out, starch them up. Then it’s conference play!

Anybody know if their qb is still out? Sounds like they are pretty helpless without him.

Wildcats? Should be the Poutines. Or maybe the maple leafs.

So the Buffs have shown they can deal with adversity. Now let’s see if this team can deal with expectations.
Buffs should roll in this one.

If Buffs dominate from the start and they have backups playing by the 3rd quarter then I really like the mental makeup of this team for this season.

Anybody seen a depth chart for CU?

Indeed 4/5 on OL graded higher for NU than CSU!?!? But still low.

I can’t believe there won’t be changes on left side.

Since the game itself has the potential to be a bit of a snoozer, and Burrito has felt the need to meld NH with Canada, as a granite state native I thought I would take the opportunity to share some items that may be of interest as we await the inevitable beating our Buffs will provide the Wildcats.

While NH might be one of the least diverse states in the country racially (thankfully that appears to be changing), it offers one of the most environmentally diverse palettes of any state. Yes, NH has the farms and forests that produce world class maple syrup, but in addition there is a vibrant seacoast for beaches and sailing, some really challenging mountains for hiking and skiing, and one of the most beautiful National Forests in the country (White Mountain National Forest).

(Our Buffs competed in Jackson, NH during the NCAA Championships in 2017)

While NH's population is pretty small (1.3 Million), the Live Free or Die state has pumped out a large number of notable folks...
- The first man in space, Alan Shepard
-The 14th President of the United States, Franklin Pierce
- Authors John Irving, JD Salinger, and Dan Brown
- Poet Robert Frost
-Yosemite climbing legend Dean Potter
- Actors Adam Sandler, Sarah Silverman, Seth Meyers, and Mandy Moore
- Metal music legend Ronnie James Dio
- The band Aerosmith was formed in Sunapee, NH
- Athletes Carlton Fisk, Matt Carpenter, Brian Wilson (SF Giants), Chip Kelly (coach), Triple H of the WWE, Olympic Skier Bode MIller, Olympic Swimmer Jenny Thompson, Olympic Gold medalist in hockey Tara Mounsey, Cy Young award winner Mike Flanagan, and former San Antonio Spur Matt Bonner

Many folks find themselves in New Hampshire due to its number of world class educational institutions. Dartmouth College has produced a number of notable alums, while Phillips Exeter Academy and St. Paul's School are numbers #1 and #3 respectively in the latest Most Prestigious Boarding School rankings. https://www.businessinsider.com/most-elite-boarding-schools-in-america-2016-2

New Hampshire has its own personality, which is described as being more independent or libertarian. In my time out west its been common place for most who I meet to just think of New England as one big area, but locally I can tell you that those in NH, VT, and ME feel as if that is the real New England. Massholes are generally detested as loudmouth nuisances on vacation, while RI is barely even a blip on the radar and CT is just a suburb of NYC. A very dull one at that.

So that's a bit of a taste of NH for some of you who may have no clue what the hell is happening over there. Maybe you found some of this interesting, more than likely not, but coming off from two rivalry games it's hard to generate much of a buzz for this one. Hopefully this will at least generate a little interest for the team coming to town on Saturday. Considering it is about 48 hours until kickoff and we are still on the first page of the game thread.

- The first man in space, Alan Shepard - Nope
-The 14th President of the United States, Franklin Pierce - ok [he failed to stem conflict between North and South, setting the stage for Southern secession and the American Civil War.]

- Poet Robert Frost
