New Hampshire Wildcats - Official Pregame Thread

I’m taking my 6 year old daughter tomorrow. Does anyone have any suggestions for taking their kids to Folsom now that the IPF is closed? Any advice helps.
Thanks!

Does anyone know if we can buy rooftop terrace tickets at the game? Or do we have to purchase beforehand? I know the limit is 4 online but even then, can't remember the online login for our ticket account :ROFLMAO:

I know my 9 year old will be complaining the whole time. It will be imperative that CU scores a **** load of points in the first half so if the complaining gets out of hand we can leave early.

Was in Lincoln last week and am still hoarse somehow, so will be watching this one with my family in air conditioning with alcohol.

Two QBs. Montez for 2.5 quarters and the backup for the rest.

If Lytle made an appearance against little brother, I'd guess he'd play tomorrow if things went the way we all think they will. What I want to see more than lots of backups is this-let them actually run the offense. We're playing an FCS team from the east coast. No need to be Mr. Nice Guy and take the foot off the gas-FBS/FCS games are basically the college equivalent of the NFL preseason. Get as many people quality reps as you possibly can and get the people you can't afford to get hurt out of the game as soon as it makes sense to do so.

What I don't want to see is a repeat of the Northern Colorado fiasco from last year.

Anyone?

I had free tix offered, BUT it's my grand kiddos #2 B-Day, so there is no way. Family trumps D2 opponents.

The sun at altitude is no joke. A very sunny day at 5,300 feet can feel much hotter than it is, and really, believe or not, humidity actually helps with the intensity of the sun. The sun is more intense in September than any other time of year, imo, because there's very little humidity but it's still pretty high in the sky. Add in 90+ degrees and no wind, it sucks, especially in a concrete stadium with metal bleachers and no shade.
I bet.

Some of the most uncomfortable sporting events I've gone to have been at Folsom, Mile High and Coors Field in September. Heat-wise. I've attended multiple miserable football games in places like Ft Collins and Colorado Springs in November.
To be clear, this is intended to be good natured shjt-giving. If your family won't be happy at the game, by all means leave them at home and have the most fun you can have without.

But I'm confused what you mean by "helps with the intensity of the sun" (burning?). I know that humidity makes hot days feel hotter and cold days feel colder. From experience, an 85 day in Raleigh is far more miserable than a 100 day in Phoenix.
I general, I would much rather be watching a sporting event in Colorado at 87 degrees than in Virginia Beach at 87 degrees (both comfort-wise and because I hate everything about this place). HOWEVER, I will concede that TODAY at 3 pm respective of time zones, the real feel in Boulder will be hotter that VABch or Raleigh.

I would much rather be watching a game in our climate but for a bunch of guys coming from close to sea level the combination of hot sun and sucking wind due to the altitude could be brutal.

Would not be surprising to see a lot of UNH players cramping up today.

BuffUp family headn to Boulder for the game....

GO BUFFS!!

I think we need to run the score up and get some style points now

I hope we win, it would be embarrassing to lose, and hurt our confidence dramatically going into conference play.

Overconfidence can be damning.
