Defensive: Nick Fisher, So., DB, Colorado
• In Colorado's 38-24 win over No. 20 Washington State, he was called upon after losing two free safeties ahead of him on the depth chart (one to ejection, the other to a concussion), he stepped in and made six tackles (all solo), with a pass broken up.
• After only playing 39 snaps previously, Fisher played 67 while having had three third down stops and a fourth down stop, the latter at CU's 15-yard line. when Washington State was driving trying to score a go-ahead touchdown when trailing 28-24 with 13:17 left in the game.
It was a little bit Strickland-esque. I hope he plays the rest of his career like Donald.Arguably the biggest play of the game.
FifyArguably the biggest play of the season.
8 in 12 weeks!
I'm guessing we're in first place?Eight winners in 12 weeks. Seven different players. Wow.
Definitely in the running, although, I have to put Spoon's INT against Oregon at #1. IMO, winning that game was the catalyst for this incredible run.Fify
Thx Ken! Right when I posted my question there was a post above mine w the same answer.8 in 12 weeks!
No kidding. So far, four of our POWs started the season as backups:The Rise really is real - talk about "next man up!" Well done, Nick Fisher.

Sal is looking down on us and something really special is building in Boulder.
?Next year secondary Julmisse, Oliver, Fisher, and Laguda. That isn't as scary as I once though it was going to be.
We are losing a lot on defense next year, the secondary especially. The young players have flashed enough in their limited snaps this year to make me feel more comfortable for next year.
