Looks like it will be a sunny day and clear evening. Maybe some rain for the drive home.

If there is anyone headed down from Portland and needs a ride, I have space. I’m planning on heading down around noon and then hitting up the Buff pregame festivities at 4.

Not feeling confident about the game but weirder things have happened on Pac-12 after dark.

National spotlight for us but I'm guessing not a lot of recruits are actually going to watch this game given that they will be playing in games of their own. Hopefully Oregon keeps up their conservative gameplan and we keep the score respectable. That way when croots look at their phone after their own game it won't look so bad

If there is anyone headed down from Portland, I have a parking pass and room to take other people. I’m planning on heading down around noon and then hitting up the Buff pregame festivities at 4.

I nearly pulled the trigger on tickets, but now my fellow Buff fan has to be in Seattle Friday. However, if anybody has a ticket they want to sell, I’d be up for riding along.

If nothing else, maybe I’ll see some of you in Pullman next week.

Go Buffs!

Wife and I fly out there tomorrow. Staying with cousin in Portland. Going to coast on Thursday, I have to go to the Ocean anytime I visit a coastal state (kinda like people visiting Colorado have to see mountains). Heading down to game with my cousin Friday afternoon and coming home Saturday night. Wanted to fit a Salmon fishing trip, but doesn’t look like we will make that happen this trip.

starting to wonder, I can see him sitting it out if it looks like his draft status won’t change much. I can tell you if we do happen to make a bowl, he won’t be playing in that regardless of health imo
Nor should he, but I would really hope he is doing everything he can to get back on the field and help the team make a bowl game

I think we are all chalking this game up as a likely loss, but I am definitely intrigued to see how Tucker has this team prepared and playing against a team with a serious talent advantage at probably every position, not to mention playing a top 15 team on the road.

I always felt the last staff mostly had the team playing at or above the level of inferior opponents, at or below the level of similar opponents, and way below the level of superior opponents. ASU was a big test and I came away impressed with Tucker. This one is on a whole different level, particularly with the injuries over the last few weeks.

We saw Stanford play up to UW last week and beat them. We saw Cal play up to UW and beat them earlier. We saw Cal play up to Oregon and hang with them on the road until the end. Can Tucker get CU to play up to the level of Oregon and make it a competitive/respectable game?

For me, a lot of this game comes down to Shenault, Onu, and Sami health. Onu and Sami are really key for me to give CU a chance. We know the offense can click if Shenault is out, but not having Onu and Sami is massive. No depth at all if those two are out, especially with Onu out. I fully expect to see a really good game out of Montez, it seems to be how he works for some reason.

Someone mentioned that Blackmon posted on his Instagram that he had shoulder labrum surgery? If true and he’s out, the CB depth chart is literally Abrams, Trujillo and Luckett at this point...

I assume they'll hold him out this week so he's fully healed, but that's great news that Sami might be able to play this week. Didn't look good when he limped off.
Big time news about Sami.
I thought Sami was almost certainly having ACL surgery! Damn, that is great news!

I don't want to be a buzz kill, but Henry's tweet doesn't quite match up with the full quote Adam's tweet has regarding Sami. Seems like Tucker was saying that Russell may be back this week, but Sami is a different category.

I don’t think it matters much who plays defense this week. Any chance we have to win will come from offense and special teams.

Yikes, the line is Oregon -20.5.

Here's hoping for a miracle performance out of Montez like his first career start.
