I listened to about 10 minutes of his speech. I swear there was a moment where I thought he was about to go off on "This ain't intramurals, brotha!
Prepare for our cortisol levels to get elevated, as MacIntyre's agent is gonna flirt with **** bailer to get him a raise. Ugh
Why would you do that to Charlie?!This isnt going to happen, but Charlie Strong is perfect at Baylor. That program needs a culture change, and he'd be given latitude to do it there.
Temple's Matt Rhule to Oregon?

While I'm not at all concerned about MM going to bailer, the thought of losing Leavitt to Cal is concerning to me.
Phil isn't interested in a retread defensive minded coach. The real worry is that he goes to Oregon, imho. Outweighed only if he took one of the Az jobs forcing us to play him annually. Yikes.

YepTaggart would be a great hire by Oregon if it happens.
I don't know, man. He is struggling in SF and money usually talks.BTW, the talk of Kelly returning is pretty funny. He wants no part of that job after the way Helfrich was treated (the two are close).

Wouldn't going back allow him to ensure the rest of the staff is hired/retained besides just Helfrich and maintain the continuity of his legacy rather than seeing the whole thing disintegrate? He was instrumental in getting Helfrich and the rest of that staff hired/retained after he left. He will not go back.
What does he hate more - dealing with boosters and recruiting or failing and being fired?Kelly hates recruiting, and hated dealing with boosters. He's not going back to coach in college
Don't think anybody is "perfect" at Baylor. That program is a disaster that is going to get worse before it gets better. They have almost death penaltied themselves with losing most of last years class and this years class going to be whatever they can throw together in the next few weeks against the backdrop of their scandal.
Charlie seems to smart to get himself involved in that mess. With a little patience he will be able to have his choice of better situations.

I agree, Taggart or Fleck are perfect in Oregon imo. Duff, not coming at you but I'm surprised you agree considering what you said about Kiffin. Taggart isn't a defensive minded coach and USF's defense is among the worst in college football this year. Is it moreso that a dominating run game coach would be more of a better fit and would help the defense?Taggart would be a great hire by Oregon if it happens.
That is a different conversation all together.Chip already said he would help oregon hire the next guy but has no interest in the job
