Oregons Defense #126.
USF Defense #120.

Not the focus I would have gone with if I were Oregon, but he wins so far so it might work out.

I am wondering how wise it is to give out a phone and e-mail in that manner. Has this made it to the shag? Will definitely be useful after that first unexpected loss...

The number is probably for the football office, and a receptionist has to route the calls to him. Nothing they don't already put up with from fans who know how to find the number. Probably public on the internet staff directory too. Poor interns.

Let's hope Taggart brings his DC with him. It's hard to be that bad at Defense as USF was, given the talent available for a school in Tampa, with such low qualifying requirements.

I've seen some mixed sentiments about Taggart on Twitter. Some people say that he has done well, considering the programs he's been with, while others have said his recruiting hasn't gotten better and he has actually underperformed his talent level from from one of his decent recruiting classes from '13-'14

Who was that kid JL was after that chose them over us?

Footballscoop:
San Jose State: Brent Brennan has officially been announced as the new leader of the program.

He's not checking email going to "HFC@texas..." and someone answers that phone line for him.

LMFAO at the original staffs salary numbers. It looks like Chev and Tumpkin came in at good $$$ for us.

Bernardi hahaha

Would probably be an upgrade.

Good for Charlie Strong. I hope he succeeds there. It's certainly a better fit than UT was. It takes a special kind of person to succeed at UT.

Same report says he's willing to give USF a break on salary...... at least while his buyout from Bevo is being paid.

Would be to his advantage. Those contracts usually include an offset, unless USF is paying him more he ends up with the same amount of money, just depends on who pays it. Let Texas pay him to coach another school. Have a handshake agreement to add some of it onto the next contract or to his assistants.

USF-UCF will probably be the play in game for the greater six bid the next couple years if strong goes there.
